Tsavo National Park East - Early morning pick-up and departure for Tsavo East. Arrive at Voi Wildlife Lodge in time for lunch, check in, relax, and then head out for an evening game drive.

FULL GAME DRIVE TSAVO EAST

Tsavo National Park East - Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the lodge, then set off for a game drive. As you travel along the red earth tracks, keep an eye out for the movement and signs of African wildlife. The more you look, the more you’ll see. Don’t forget to relish the excitement of spotting wildlife. It’s amazing to see animals living so close to each other. Look out for the huge animals and keep an eye out for giraffes, which are surprisingly well camouflaged as they nibble the tops of trees. Check under shady trees for lions resting after a hunt, and watch as gazelles and cheetahs cross the road right in front of you. The Chyulu Hills, a volcanic mountain range with a mix of volcanic cones, are also a sight to behold. We’ll have a picnic lunch in the park.

TSAVO EAST TO TSAVO WEST

Tsavo National Park West - 6:00 am: Early morning check-out and proceed to Tsavo West National Park. A stop-over is made at Mzima Springs, the source of most of Mombasa’s fresh water. You can walk down to an underwater observation chamber where you can literally watch hippos or crocodiles swim along the floor of this crystal-clear spring. We’ll have a picnic lunch in the park.

FULL DAY AT TAITA HILLS SANCTUARY

Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary - Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the lodge, then depart for a game drive in the Taita Hills Conservancy. A group of four will be picked up at the gate at 8:00 am for a private transfer to Mombasa, where they will be dropped off at Mombasa International Airport.

• The rest will continue with the game drive in the conservancy until lunchtime. Lunch will be at the Taita Hills Resort. After lunch, drive back to Salt Lick for a short rest, followed by an evening sunset game drive from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
