The journey takes you through the dramatic Great Rift Valley, with a brief stop at the viewpoint for photos. Lunch will be in Narok town. The Maasai Mara National Reserve, part of the vast Serengeti plains, is renowned for the spectacular wildebeest migration and is home to the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, and Rhino. Upon arrival, you’ll go on an evening game drive to track various animal species and birds with your driver/guide.

Maasai Mara National Reserve - After breakfast, you’ll depart with picnic lunch boxes for a full day of game viewing in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Maasai Mara National Reserve - After breakfast, you have the option to visit a Maasai Village before departing for Nairobi with lunch en route. You’ll arrive in the evening and be dropped off at your Nairobi hotel.
Nairobi - Arusha
Arusha Region - Depart from Nairobi with a shuttle to Arusha, stopping at the Namanga Border for immigration procedures. Continue your journey to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon. Check into your hotel in Arusha, which is booked on a bed and breakfast basis. Dinner is on your own.
Arusha- Lake Manyara
Lake Manyara National Park - After breakfast, drive west on a good tarmac road across the gently rolling Maasai plains with scattered acacia trees. You’ll pass many Maasai bomas and Maasai in their traditional dress walking, riding bicycles, herding cattle, and driving donkey carts. After two hours, you’ll arrive at Manyara gate and proceed with a game drive. The first habitat is the underground forest with water seeping from the Rift Valley escarpment. You’ll see hippos, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, blue monkeys, and baboons.
Lake Manyara- Serengeti
Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, take a picnic lunch and drive west across the Ngorongoro highlands. You’ll pass zebras and wildebeest grazing with Maasai cattle and young boys tending them, as well as Maasai villages. Stop at Nabi gate for lunch before an afternoon game drive in the central Serengeti, where you’ll see lions, hippos, giraffes, leopards, reedbucks, and elephants.
Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater - Start with an early morning game drive, as many animals are active at this time. Return to camp for breakfast before heading out for another game drive. In the Seronera region, you’ll often see wildebeests and zebras near lions and other predators like leopards and cheetahs. After a picnic lunch, continue to the Ngorongoro Crater, where you’ll enjoy fantastic views of the 600-meter-deep collapsed volcano.
Ngorongoro Crater- Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater - After an early breakfast, descend into the crater, which has possibly the largest permanent concentration of wildlife in Africa, with an estimated 30,000 large mammals. It’s also one of the best reserves to see Black Rhino. Other sightings include lions, hyenas, jackals, hippos, buffaloes, elephants, zebras, and wildebeest. After lunch, drive back to Arusha.
Arusha – Nairobi
Nairobi - After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and depart for Nairobi by shuttle bus. Arrive in the afternoon and be dropped off at the airport to catch your flight home.
