Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara Game Reserve (265 km: 4-5 hrs)
0730hrs: Pick up from your Nairobi hotel. Head to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive of the safari. Overnight at your Masai Mara safari Sopa Lodge or similar accommodation.
Day 2: Masai Mara Game Reserve - Full Day
Today is dedicated to game viewing! Masai Mara boasts the highest and most diverse concentration of wildlife in the region. Optional activities include a balloon excursion and a visit to a Masai village. Overnight at your Masai Mara safari Sopa Lodge or similar accommodation.
Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru (275 km: 5 hrs)
An early morning game drive may be scheduled. Later, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Overnight at your Lake Nakuru safari lodge or tented camp.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park - Lake Naivasha
Enjoy bird watching and game drives at Lake Nakuru. Then, head to nearby Lake Naivasha and Hell’s Gate on a relaxed drive. Overnight at a Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort or similar accommodation.
Day 5: Lake Naivasha - Amboseli (350 km: 5 hrs)
Today, take a long and leisurely drive to Amboseli. Enjoy a short game drive with possible views of Mount Kilimanjaro’s peaks, weather permitting. Overnight at your Amboseli Kibo Safari Camp or similar accommodation.
Day 6: Amboseli National Park
Start the day with an early pre-breakfast game drive in Amboseli National Park. Spend the rest of the day exploring the park with unlimited game drives. Overnight at Kibo Safari Camp or similar accommodation.
Day 7: Amboseli - Tsavo West (100 km: 2 hrs)
A short morning game drive is scheduled in Amboseli, with Mount Kilimanjaro providing a stunning backdrop for photos. Later, proceed to Tsavo West National Park. Overnight at Sarova Saltlick Game Lodge or similar accommodation.
Day 8: Tsavo West - Tsavo East National Park
Enjoy game drives in Tsavo West, including a stop at Mzima Springs. Later, continue to Tsavo East National Park with game spotting and scenic views en route. Overnight at Tsavo East Ashnil or similar accommodation.
Day 9: Tsavo East National Park - Nairobi or Mombasa
Your last day on safari! Start with an early morning game drive in Tsavo East National Park. Later, return to Nairobi and get dropped off at Nairobi airport or your hotel. Alternatively, you can proceed to the Kenya coast beach resorts of Mombasa, Watamu, Diani, Bamburi, etc.
