• Observation Hill - From the summit of Observation Hill, a pyramid-shaped volcanic hill rising above the mostly flat Amboseli National Park, watch elephants bathe in a swamp. Enjoy the view of the plains and swamps with Kilimanjaro as a backdrop. This observation point is one of the best places to see elephants and attracts many tourists, both local and international. Besides large mammals gathering to drink, you can also spot flocks of pink flamingos. Bring binoculars and a powerful lens for excellent photos.

Amboseli is located on the Kenyan plains, with the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro as a distant backdrop. The park is renowned worldwide for its large population of African Elephants, often seen in herds exceeding 100 individuals. Notably, the large bull elephants boast some of the largest tusks in the animal kingdom. Visitors can also observe abundant herds of buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, and impala, along with giraffes and warthogs. With such diversity, Amboseli is also home to a thriving population of predators. Lions, leopards, caracals, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and serval cats are commonly sighted within the park.
