Maasai Mara National Reserve - Full day Maasai Mara: (Balloon safari available at 420 USD per person) Start a full-day game drive at 7:30 am with a picnic lunch by the Mara River under a croton tree, witnessing the great wildebeest migration. Conclude the game drive and return to your lodge by 4 pm. In the evening, visit a Maasai village to explore their culture for an hour at 20 USD per person.

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Maasai Mara to Serengeti via Isebania Border: Enjoy breakfast at 6:30 am before heading to the Tanzania border, arriving around midday. Complete the border crossing process, which takes about an hour, and meet your Tanzanian driver/guide. Begin your game drive in Serengeti as you travel to your accommodation. Enjoy dinner and relaxation at Mawe Tented.

FULL DAY SERENGETI

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, embark on a full day of morning and afternoon game drives to explore the vast plains. The Serengeti, Tanzania’s most famous and largest national park, covers 14,763 square kilometers and borders Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Park. The park is renowned for the Migration, where over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras move south for the short rains in October and November, then head west and north after the long rains in April, May, and June. Their instinct to migrate is so strong that no obstacle can deter them. Join us to discover the diverse vegetation and landscapes of the Serengeti ecosystem and meet its fascinating inhabitants.

Serengeti Hippo Pool - The Serengeti National Park, part of the Serengeti ecosystem in Tanzania’s Mara and Simiyu regions, is famous for its annual migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and 250,000 zebras, along with numerous Nile crocodiles and honey badgers.

SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO

Ngorongoro Crater - After a hearty breakfast, set off on an early morning game drive in the Serengeti. The name Serengeti, from the Maasai language, means endless plain, home to a variety of wildlife including lions, elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, leopards, cheetahs, warthogs, hyenas, and a rich birdlife. During migration, millions of wildebeest and zebras gather, followed by predators.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - This area stretches from the Serengeti to Ngorongoro, where many local Maasai tribes reside.

NGORONGORO TO LAKE MANYARA

Lake Manyara - Enjoy a full-day tour of Ngorongoro starting at 7 am and concluding at 3 pm with a picnic lunch. Depart to spend the night at Octagon Lodge.

LAKE MANYARA TO ARUSHA

Arusha Airport - After breakfast at the Lodge, embark on a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. The park is characterized by lush green vegetation with tall trees of the groundwater forest, home to baboons and blue monkeys. The forest transitions into woodland, grassland, swamps, and the soda lake, home to over 350 bird species, including flamingos, pelicans, sacred ibis, grebes, and storks. The southern end features hot sulfur springs known as Maji Moto. Manyara is home to buffalo, elephants, giraffes, impalas, hippos, and the elusive tree-climbing lions. Depart for Arusha, arriving around 4 pm.

ARUSHA TO NAIROBI

Jomo Kenyatta International Airport - Travel from Arusha to Nairobi. After breakfast at 6:30 am, depart for Nairobi on a luxury shuttle leaving at 7 am. Arrive in Nairobi around 3 pm, with drop-off at the airport or a hotel within Nairobi CBD.
