Nairobi to Aberdare National Park

Aberdare National Park - Begin your journey with a pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or Nairobi Airport. Head towards Aberdare National Park, with lunch at Aberdare Country Club. Post-lunch, drive to The Ark Lodge for an overnight stay. Spend the afternoon and evening observing wildlife from the lodge’s balconies. Aberdare National Park hosts elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalos, warthogs, and bushbucks, among others. Rare species include the Giant Forest hog, bongo, golden cat, serval cat, African wild cat, African civet cat, and the blue duiker.

Aberdares National Park to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Ol Pejeta Conservancy - After breakfast, head to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, renowned for its black and a few white rhinos. Upon arrival, check in and enjoy a game drive after lunch. Visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary to learn about the rescued orphaned chimpanzees. Later, visit Sweetwaters to see giraffes, zebras, and more.

Ol Pejeta to Samburu National Reserve

Samburu National Reserve - After breakfast, proceed to Samburu National Reserve. Upon arrival, check in and then embark on a game drive to spot various animals. Return to the lodge for some relaxation.

Samburu National Reserve - Spend a full day on a game drive in the reserve, spotting elephants, zebras, lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, oryx, the endangered Grevy’s zebra, the Reticulated giraffe, and more. Return to the lodge for relaxation and swimming.
