• Lake Nakuru National Park - The adventure starts with a pickup from your Nairobi hotel. From there, you’ll proceed directly to Lake Nakuru National Park. This lake is famous as a bird sanctuary, hosting over 400 bird species at times. It can attract up to two million greater and lesser flamingos, along with tens of thousands of other birds, earning it the nickname “Birds’ Paradise.” The National Park also serves as a rhino sanctuary, offering excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. Wildlife viewing begins as soon as you enter the park gates. When it’s time for lunch, you’ll stop at a lodge where you can purchase a meal at a local restaurant (own expense).
• Lake Naivasha - After lunch, continue to enjoy wildlife viewing as you drive out of the park. You’ll exit the park around 3:00 PM and head to Lake Naivasha for an optional 1-hour boat ride. If you wish to include the boat ride, make sure to select the appropriate option when booking. During the boat ride, you can enjoy bird watching, eagle feeding, and hippo viewing. After the boat ride, you’ll return to Nairobi, arriving at approximately 6:00 PM.
