Nairobi to Masai Mara

The Great Rift Valley View Point - At 8:00 AM, the operator will pick you up from your hotel or residence within Nairobi CBD to begin the journey to Maasai Mara. The drive includes a stop at the Great Rift Valley View Point, offering a stunning view of the rift valley floor. Lunch will be a picnic along the way. In the afternoon, after checking in, you will depart for a game drive.

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Arrival at Maasai Mara is scheduled for lunchtime. After checking in, you will embark on an evening game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve.

Masai Mara Reserve is Kenya’s most popular tourist destination, located in the Great Rift Valley, primarily consisting of open grassland. It is considered the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. Visitors are almost guaranteed to see the Big Five. The extraordinary wildebeest migration, a spectacular event unique to Maasai Mara, is a world wonder.

Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara

Masai Mara National Reserve - Enjoy a full day game drive, exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big Five. Picnic lunches will be provided in the Reserve as you admire the beauty along the banks of the Mara River.

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru

Narok - Pass through Narok at 12:00 PM. A lunch stop is scheduled at a traveler’s motel provided by the operator. Continue the drive to Nakuru.

Lake Nakuru - Arrival in Nakuru is expected at 6:00 PM. Check in at your accommodation, enjoy dinner, and relax. The game drive is planned for the following day.

Lake Nakuru to Amboseli

Lake Nakuru - After an early breakfast, depart at 7:00 AM directly to the park. This small park is home to magnificent, rare white rhinos, part of the Big Five. There is also a chance to see pink flamingos. The game drive lasts 3 hours, followed by a 3-hour drive back to Nairobi. From the gate, drive along the lake’s shores, where you might spot rhinos drinking. Numerous baboons can be seen in the trees near the road. The game drive concludes at 10:00 AM. Depart the park, have lunch, and continue en route to Amboseli.

Amboseli - From 1:00 PM to around 6:00 PM, enjoy the scenic Kenyan road trip to Amboseli. Upon arrival, check in at the camp, have dinner, and rest.

Full Day Game Drive in Amboseli

Observation Hill - Begin with an early morning game drive to catch a glimpse of Mt. Kilimanjaro and enjoy the view from the viewpoint. After breakfast, embark on a full day game drive to observe the park’s residents, including well-known predators and their prey like zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and hippos, all with a view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Return to your lodge for dinner and rest.

Amboseli National Park - Continue the game drive after lunch. Amboseli National Park, located in southern Kenya, is renowned for its large elephant herds and views of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill provides panoramic views of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. The park hosts diverse wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and hundreds of bird species. The western section features the vast Lake Amboseli, which dries up outside the rainy season.

Amboseli to Nairobi

Amboseli - After breakfast, depart the lodge with an en route game drive as you join the Nairobi-Mombasa highway. A complimentary snack lunch will be served on the way. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, with a drop-off at the airport or your designated meeting point. This marks the end of the safari.
