Nairobi to Lake Nakuru

Rift Valley Province - At 8 am, guests will be picked up from their hotel in the city center or Westland area to begin the journey to Maasai Mara. The drive includes a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, offering a stunning view of the rift valley floor.

Lake Nakuru - Arrive at the camp in time for lunch. After checking in and enjoying lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive in the park. This small park is home to the magnificent and rare white rhinos, part of the Big Five. Visitors may also spot the vibrant pink flamingos. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara

Maasai Mara National Reserve - After an early morning breakfast, check out and drive to Maasai Mara, arriving in time for lunch. Check into the hotel, and at 4:00 pm, depart for a two-hour game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve until 6:00 pm. Return to the camp for a delicious buffet dinner, followed by a restful night at the camp.

Full day Maasai Mara

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Start the day with an early breakfast at 6:30 am, then depart for a full day of game viewing. This day is crucial as there is a chance to see the Big Five, especially the elusive big cats. Visit the famous Mara River, where the great migration occurs, and enjoy a guided tour by rangers to observe Nile crocodiles and hippo families. Enjoy a picnic lunch under a tree in the park, overlooking the vast landscapes.

The Mara is renowned for hosting one of nature’s most spectacular events: the great migration. This annual migration involves millions of wildebeest and zebra moving from the Serengeti in Tanzania in search of water and pasture, followed by savanna predators such as lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures.

Maasai Mara to Serengeti

Serengeti National Park - Guests will be handed over to a Tanzanian driver and cook. In Tanzania, a 4-wheel drive Land Cruiser is used. Enjoy an evening game drive en route to the camp.

Serengeti National Park - At 7:00 am, set out for the endless open plains and breathtaking skies of the Serengeti. This includes a scenic four-hour drive, a full day of game drives, and a late evening game drive.

Serengeti National Park, located in Tanzania, is renowned for its abundant wildlife and the great wildebeest migration. The park spans 14,763 square kilometers (5,700 square miles), extending north to Kenya and bordering Lake Victoria to the west. The Serengeti boasts the highest concentration of large mammals on Earth and is famous for its 2,500 lions, the largest concentration found anywhere. The park is also home to over 518 identified bird species, including Eurasian migrants present during the European winter months from October to April.

Arusha - After an early breakfast at the campsite, check out with a packed lunch and drive back to Arusha, with drop-off at the hotel or airport.
