DAY 1: MOMBASA TO SALT LICK GAME LODGE
Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary - Guests are picked up from their hotel or the airport and set off for Tsavo West National Park at 6 a.m., traveling along the Nairobi-Mombasa Road. The journey offers beautiful scenery in eastern Kenya, with opportunities to see wildlife and experience the local culture. After a 5-hour drive, travelers arrive in Voi town, where they turn towards the main gate of Tsavo West National Park. A game drive is enjoyed en route to the Taita Hills Resort and Spa for lunch, where a variety of delicious dishes are served in a charming setting. After lunch, guests proceed to the renowned Salt Lick Safari Lodge, check in, and then head out for a game viewing drive. The day concludes with a delightful buffet dinner at the lodge, offering a breathtaking view of the floodlit waterhole, providing a close-up view of the animals, followed by a restful night.

FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN TAITA HILLS SANCTUARY
Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary - Spend the entire day exploring the expansive Taita Hills Game Sanctuary. This private sanctuary is conveniently located next to Tsavo West, making it easily accessible. The landscape here is more lush than Tsavo, and the game viewing is equally impressive. The sanctuary is great for bird watching, though that is not its main draw. A unique feature of this small park is that the rangers often know where the larger animals are located. It’s not uncommon for safari-goers to spot over a dozen species during a game drive.
DAY 3: SALT LICK TO MOMBASA
