Samburu National Reserve - Begin your journey from your Nairobi hotel or the airport at 7:00 am, heading towards Samburu. The drive will take approximately 6 hours, with a stop along the way to admire the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya. You’ll arrive at the camp in time for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon, set out on your first game drive, where you might see Grevy’s Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx, Somali Ostrich, Elephants, Lions, Leopards, and Cheetahs. Return to your camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay. Lunch and dinner will be served at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Samburu National Reserve - Start your day with an early morning game drive before heading back to the lodge for breakfast. Afterward, embark on a full-day game drive with packed lunch boxes. Enjoy a day filled with wildlife viewing, with chances to see unique species like Oryx, Gerenuk, Grevy’s Zebra, Somali Ostrich, and other animals native to this semi-arid region. Your game drives will take you along the Ewaso Nyiro River, where most wildlife congregates. Birdwatching opportunities abound as well. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and overnight stay will be at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Nairobi - After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight home. Breakfast will be at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

A 3 Days Safari visiting the Samburu National Reserve, one of the famous safari destinations in East Africa. Samburu National Reserve is a haven for an abundance of rare species of animals such as the Grevy Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx and Somali Ostrich. You will be staying at Samburu Sopa Lodge built on top high ground allowing panoramic views of the vastness of Samburu shrub land and the hills beyond. The lodge is built to reflect the architectural heritage of the local communities whose sons and daughters make up the majority of the work force at the lodge.
