Awesome - Great experience with a wonderful pilot and the breakfast location and food topped off the views on the balloon ride with style! Highly recommend doing this while in Masai Mara

Not cheap, but worth every cent - For me a must do if visiting this area. To see the sunrise surrounded by other balloons, skimming the trees, viewing from height, animals, scenery- exceptional. Finished off by a first class champagne breakfast.

Stunning views, and so peaceful. - This was my first time in a hot air balloon. I was always afraid. Never again. The views from above are beautiful, and it is so peacefull. I especially enjoyed seeing the hippos in and out of the water. This whole trip was so well organized, including the champagne breakfast at the end and all transportation to and from the balloon. I went to Kenya with my eldest adult son. He also loved the experience.

Ballon Ride at Masai Mara - Early start to get to the boarding place. Take off and landing is very exciting . Very professional operators. Very exciting hour.

A true highlight of my life - Having never been in a hot air balloon, I was a little nervous, but it was an adventure of a lifetime. We didn’t seen that many animals below us, as it was not the peak of the migration, but it didn’t matter. I didn’t find it frightening at all, in fact was disappointed we didn’t stay high up very long. Highest we went was 500 meters. Basket held 11 of us plus the pilot and helper. Trip lasted about 30 minutes would go again in a heartbeat. .

Amazing highlight of the trip and of a lifetime - AMAZING in a word! They get you up at 430 your lodge - we were at Intrepids. Ride back through the reserve and meet the balloons. The scenery is spectacular and they adjust the altitude to use the winds and see animals. It was a once in a life time chance and the highlight of 3 weeks in Africa. You then land for a champagne breakfast of great food out in the field. Then back to the lodge. We saw virtually every animal type present in the reserve

Amazing experience! - • Collected at 4am from camp. • Francis, our driver had another stop and then we were off, 6 of us in total. • Francis navigated the treacherous gravel roads with ease and we arrived at our destination over an hour or so after our last pick up. • As dawn broke we were given a safety briefing from the pilot who was very funny, engaging and reassuring, clearly very experienced having done this for many years. • We lifted off and had a birdseye view of the landscape of the Massai Mara with the animals beneath.. just outstanding. • We didn't see as many animals and I thought we would but the views from the basket were amazing and worth the trip all the same. • Breakfast was laid out in the bush which was approx 40min drive from where we landed but Francis was on hand to shuttle us to the location. • Fresh omelettes, beans, potatoes, sausages and some pasteries were served with juice or champagne. There are also toilets and sinks set up here. • After breakfast Francis drove us to link up with our original tour to continue with our safari. • Would highly recommend this as a once in a lifetime type of experience it certainly meets the expectations.

An experience of a lifetime! - Such an incredible experience! Peter kept our balloon close to the ground so we were able to follow herds of animals and were able to fly along the tree tops. The time went by far too quickly and left me wanting to do it all again. The brunch afterwards was well planned and delicious. A wonderful and unique experience!

"Close your mouth!" - This was a belated birthday present from my wife, and once we'd got over the early start (4.15 from our camp site), driven to the take-off site and ascended, I couldn't believe how beautiful the African landscape was from above. We watched the sun rise, we watched animals in the distance getting closer as we neared and descended, and our pilot, Riz Jiwa, was knowledgeable, personable and funny all rolled into one perfect hour. As we set off my wife had to tell me to "Close your mouth!" 3 times, such was I in awe of the experience. Do It! You won't regret it!

Wow! This was a great experience. - The flight and preparation was excellent, the pilot, Manny, was terrific, and the breakfast was beyond all expectations.! My only shortcoming was the few animals in the flight range at that time. Totally uncontrollable by crew. But I'm rating the entire experience. I would do it again, and again.
