Tsavo National Park East - The driver guide will collect guests from their coastal hotel at 6:00 am for a 4-hour drive to Tsavo East National Park. Begin the morning game drive at 10:00 am across the expansive plains. There is an opportunity to see herds of lions, buffaloes, red elephants, giraffes, impalas, zebras, gazelles, waterbucks, and various bird species. The game drive will continue until 12:30 pm, followed by check-in and lunch at the lodge or camp. After lunch, guests can relax until 4:00 pm. The afternoon game drive will commence at 4:00 pm and conclude at 6:00 pm, returning to the lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Tsavo National Park East - The day begins with an early cup of coffee, followed by a morning game drive lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes. Guests will then return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, check out of the lodge and enjoy a final game drive while exiting the park, before heading back to the beach hotel for lunch.

The sight of dust-red elephants wallowing, rolling, and playfully spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of the palm-shaded Galana River is one of Africa’s most captivating images. Together with the 300km-long Yatta Plateau, the world’s longest lava flow, it creates an adventure like no other in Tsavo East. This park is the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, including vast herds of dust-red elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, lions, leopards, pods of hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks, lesser kudu, gerenuk, and an abundant birdlife with 500 recorded species. Tsavo East’s wildlife includes the renowned Big 5. Other sought-after species include the black rhino, hirola antelope, mongoose, giraffe, bat-eared fox, hyrax, Grevy’s zebra, ground pangolin, Sykes’s monkey, black-faced vervet monkey, and dik-dik, among others. Over 500 bird species have been recorded in the area, including ostriches, kestrels, starlings, weaver birds, kingfishers, buzzards, hornbills, secretary birds, and herons.
