Mombasa - Tsavo East

Tsavo National Park East - 7:00 am – Pick up at Hotel/airport in Mombasa.
1:00 pm – 3:00 pm – Lunch and relax at the lodge
Check-in at the lodge/camp, have lunch, unwind from the long drive, and enjoy game views from the lodge as elephants visit the water holes.
3:00 pm – 6:00 pm - Game drive in Tsavo East/West National Park
In Tsavo East National Park, you can witness the dust-red elephants wallowing, rolling, and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of the palm-shaded Galana River. This is one of Africa’s most evocative images. Along with the 300-kilometer-long Yatta Plateau, the world’s longest lava flow, it offers an adventure unlike any other in Tsavo East. The park is the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, including vast herds of dust-red elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, lions, leopards, pods of hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks, lesser kudus, gerenuks, and prolific birdlife with 500 recorded species.

Tsavo East - Mombasa

Tsavo National Park East - 6:30 am - 8:30 am – Morning game drive
Enjoy a game drive in the park, where guests can see various wide-open grass plains and scattered acacia bushes that host a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes, and diverse birdlife with over 400 species. The rooftop of the car will be opened for great views and photography.
8:30 am – Breakfast
Guests will be served a buffet-style breakfast with various delicacies prepared by the hotel.
9:30 am – 10:15 am – Visit Masai Cultural Village (Optional)
Visit the cultural village of the famous Masai tribe and get a chance to learn about the Masai cultures, lifestyles, and dances that represent the rich cultural heritage of this renowned tribe.
10:30 am – 2:00 pm – Drive to Mombasa
Guests will depart after breakfast towards Mombasa.
