Tsavo National Park East - Depart at 06:00 from Mombasa and drive off towards Tsavo East National Park, arrive at Bachuma gate at around 10:00, which is one of the entrances to Tsavo East National Park. The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya; with a park size of 13,747 sq. Km. you will start your game drive or commonly referred to as Safari immediately, seeing amongst others the huge herds of Elephants, Cape Buffalos, Giraffe, Zebra, and as well as smaller animals such as lesser Kudu, Hartebeest, and Bush-baby; and various species of birds until lunch time, where you will have your lunch at Voi safari lodge. After lunch you will have a short siesta before proceeding with your afternoon game drive, searching for waterbucks, Lesser Kudus, warthogs, impalas and many others. You will return to voi safari lodge by 17:00 where you will have your dinner and overnight.
