Arduous but worth it to see the wildlife - The drive to and from the park is not for the faint hearted. It took us 16.5 hours there and back but we are in Kilifi. The drive through Mombasa on the way back was horrendous, with poor roads and gridlocked traffic. Enough of the negatives. The experience in the park was unforgettable. I have never seen so many herds of elephant and lone bulls. The park is vast and so you just have to be patient and hope the animals want to be seen. The elephants crossed our path and later we found a herd drinking and having a good scratch by the side of the road. It was just a wonderful experience that I will never forget and puts the horrendous journey in the back of my mind. We also saw ostrich, giraffe close up, zebra, eagles, buffalo and impala/antelope. No lions but it was hot in the afternoon when we had our best animal encounters and as they sleep nearly all day, would be hard to spot. Lunch was delicious at Sentrim camp and reasonable in price. I wanted to do the one day trip because we have another 2 day safari in a few days but it just gives a break from being by the beach. I would say that on these long journeys there should be 2 members of staff to drive. Peter our guide was amazing but was falling asleep at the wheel and that is dangerous for him and us. He left us in Kilifi at 9:30pm after a 5 am pick up and we feared for his safety heading back to Mombasa.

Great Experience! - I had a great experience with Stephen. He showed up to the hotel on time with a warm greeting. He was very knowledgeable and gave excellent explanations on everything. I really enjoyed the experience and looked forward to booking again. I would definitely request Stephen again.

Amazing !!! - This was mine and my mums first ever safari and it will be one to remember forever. Our tour guide, Peter, was amazing! So friendly and knowledgable. He was patient and allowed us time to take photos of everything. We saw so many animals, it is great how everyone can communicate with other groups to be able to maximise everyone's experience. Worth the trip - Got to see lots of elephants, giraffes, lions, the list goes on and on. My driver was very informative and spotted so many animals before I even knew they were there. It can be a long day when going from Mombasa so just be prepared for a fair amount of driving

Rip-off - Unfortunately, I can't award more than 1 star here. We just feel like we're being screwed. We booked especially !exactly this trip! so we can see both parks (as the description says: East and West), which was very important to us because we booked another safari a few days later, where we also went to East Park and not to West. We unfortunately ONLY went to East Park, on requests why we only go to East Park we were told that the West was too far away. On the way back from our other safari we drove past West Park and it is across from East Park. At lunch we were driven to an accommodation where you had to pay a flat rate equivalent to 40€ per person for food, which was also not communicated before. There was a small bottle of water for everyone to drink for the entire safari. Unfortunately, the trip is excessively expensive for this price. We paid just 500 € for 3 days of safari with accommodation and meals. Therefore, I cannot recommend this trip. Since it is simply misleading and we are very disappointed and angry as we would have been very happy to see the West Park as well.

NOT RECOMMENDED - a lot of misinformation - It is not possible to visit Tsavo East & West National Park in one day. Only East National Park is possible. Drinking was NOT included, after several requests we were allowed to stop after 4h to have a drink. The guide was not in German as booked. The times don't match at all, had to wait 2h at the side of the road. very ill-informed, because you first have to create an account to then pay the entrance fee online (only possible with Visa / Maestro) Had to spend a lot of money on internet, because you only said it on the way there. This tour with this tour operator I can absolutely NOT recommend! Safari itself was beautiful!
