Tsavo National Park West - The day begins with a hotel pick-up and transfer to Nairobi Terminus for a morning train to Mtito. Upon arrival, a hotel representative will pick you up from the train station and transfer you to the camp. After checking in and resting, you will have lunch. Following lunch, there will be a short rest before departing for an afternoon game drive in the park. Known as the land of lions or ‘Man-eaters,’ the park features savanna grasslands and a diverse array of habitats, including open plains, semi-desert scrub, woodland, Chyulu Hills, and rock outcrops. It is famous for its Red Elephants, Lions, Oryx, and Gerenuk, among other wildlife and bird species. Notable features include Mzima Springs, a water source for Mombasa Town, Shetani Lava Flow, and Ash cones, which are examples of recent volcanic activity. The movie ‘Ghost and the Darkness’ was filmed here. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
