Educational and interesting tour! - I loved the tour at Skellig Six18 and I don't even like whiskey that much! Our tour guide was friendly and so knowledgeable about the distillery, the process and the whiskey itself. She used many maps, plants and scents along with stories to share the story of how the the whiskey is made and why it's different from other Irish whiskey. Great tour!

Brilliant tour for all! - We took our level 6 class to the tour as a part of our course looking at local businesses. Tony was extremely knowledgeable and the tour was absolutely amazing, we learned about the history of whiskey and gin, the process of making them and about local history. I love that they connect with the area around them and also forage a lot of their ingredients. The tour was complete and super interesting, the video was absolutely stunning of the area and the skelligs. I would highly recommend this tour to locals and tourists alike to gain a glimpse into the history, folklore, process and future of whiskey, gin and the south Kerry region. Tony was able to answer any and all questions we had, was friendly and witty, making our tour extremely special. Their gin is one of my favorites, so I was thrilled to see the behind the scenes to one of the best gins around!

Not to be missed - We visited the distillery as a family, with my husband and my in-laws. The Guide was really great, she waited for our translations to my parents-in-law, she was exciting and pedagogical. We enjoyed the tasting and are divided with purchases to try again at home... This is an interesting and tasty visit! We recommend it if you are visiting the area.

Enjoyable tour of Six18 - We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Ross explaining the history of Skelling and the process of whiskey and gin production. The sampling was also an interesting experience especially after learning about the process and flavor profiles used in both whiskey and gin production.

Whiskey with a twist! - We have just done the whiskey and gin tasting tour at Skellig Six18 in Cahersiveen. It's easy to find on the main road and very much well worth stopping for. Trish, our tour guide, was charming and informative and brought the whole story of Skellig whiskey to life in a brilliant way. Forget what you think you know about whiskey tours if you've been to Scotland, so much of the Irish whiskey making process is different (and dare I say it, better ?!) We were taken through the types of grain used, the distilling process and the different barrels for ageing the whiskey. We were then shown all the botanicals needed for their gin making; this was fascinating and really well explained. A short video explaining the origin of and aspirations for Skellig distillery was followed by a visit to the gin distilling process. Now the fun bit, tasting two whiskies while understanding why they taste the way they do. You end the tour with the chance to buy whiskey, gin and other merchandise which is all beautifully presented. This enterprise deserves to thrive - the products are excellent, the tour was delivered with passion and knowledge and the historical link to the area and distillery name is quite a thing. We loved it all!

Unforgettable whiskey and gin guide: Educational, Entertaining and Warm - The tour of the history and production of whiskey and gin was incredibly interesting, educational and entertaining. In addition, during the tasting of two of their products, much was explained about the different flavors of spirits. The staff were all very welcoming and took time for the tour and our questions.

brilliant tour - I really enjoyed the tour of Skellig Six18. The tour guide, Tony, was very friendly and gave us plenty of information about the history of Cahesiveen town, the process of making the whiskey and the gin. I felt the video he showed us had such amazing drone footage of the Skellig and the town.
