Wildlife! - Had a wonderful tour to see a few different places with wildlife. Even saw a bear! Jason went above and beyond, and gave us plenty of time at each place.

The Best Way to tour Ketchikan - We had such a good time with Rick as our guide. He clearly loves Alaska and Ketchikan and was able to communicate so many interesting bits of information as he showed us many of his favorite places. We especially loved Settlers Cove, where we saw salmon spawning and a mama bear and her two cubs. The animal display at the Trading Post at Potlach Totem Park was pretty cool as well.

Truly great day in Ketchikan. - Rick was fantastic! He apologized for substituting for Bernie, but there was no need to apologize. He knew his stuff, and he was a lot of fun. We told him that we were only interested in nature and wildlife, so he drove us straight to Settler’s Cove. He dropped us off (he wasn’t allowed to give a tour within a national park) and we walked through a stunning forest path to a beach, as well as to a beautiful waterfall, in less than thirty minutes.
Then we went to a different beach to hunt whales (no luck). From there, we went to a stream filled with salmon, and were able to find a black bear.
At the end, he dropped us off at the trailhead of Rainbird Trail, adjacent to the U of Alaska campus. The two of us hiked for over an hour in a spectacular forest, letting us out near the port.
Wonderful day. Highly recommend.

Great Alaskan experience - We loved our time with Jason! Me and my family came all the way from Brazil to get to know Alaska and our first day in the state was amazing. We got to see bears, eat wild berries, salmon spawning and totems.

Mixup on pickup location - We enjoyed the tour however there was a mixup on where to meet the car. We weee told to meet at berth 2. Our ship can in to a berth miles away so we had to shuttle and walk. The tour guide said he would have met us at our boat. We lost about a half hour.

Lovely Tour Cut Short - We were instructed to meet the tour operator at birth 2 which meant we had to take a shuttle from our boat to birth 4 then walk at least 10 minutes to get to north 2. Our driver then told us he could have picked us up at our boat which would have saved us about 30 minutes. Poor communication between aviator and the tour guide. We enjoyed the tour and the guide was knowledgeable but the tour was only 2 hours instead of 3 hours because of the miscommunication about the pickup location.
