- Rotary Beach - At Rotary Beach, there will be an opportunity to explore an Alaskan beach. Guides will highlight the unique flora and fauna, some exclusive to this ecosystem. If the tide permits, tide pool creatures can be observed. The view over Nichols Passage offers a perfect photo opportunity and a chance to spot wildlife (not guaranteed).
*Due to traffic, road construction, or tides, an alternative beach may be visited (especially for tours departing from Ward Cove).
- Herring Cove - This stop provides picturesque views of Herring Cove, home to one of the many fish hatcheries. The guide may share childhood stories of the hatchery. It’s an excellent location to spot eagles and other wildlife (not guaranteed).
*This stop may be replaced with another due to traffic or road construction (especially for tours departing from Ward Cove).
- Ketchikan - The final stop is at a stunning waterfall, just a few steps from the road, placing visitors in the heart of Ketchikan’s rainforest. If in season, the beautiful salmon berries may be in bloom.

- Ketchikan - On the return to town, the journey will follow the Tongass Narrows, where the rich fishing history of Southeast Alaska will be shared. If time permits, a final photo stop overlooking Nichols Passage will be made.
