Lots of fish!!! - This trip was fantastic!! We booked in advance with clear communication with the owners. We knew what to bring and what to expect. They picked us up on time with the prearranged shuttle and were very conscious about getting us back to the cruise ship in time. We didn't catch the sought after halibut by no fault of theirs but caught lots of fish regardless. That didn't matter, the captain was great, we had a great time! We all highly recommend Oasis Alaska Charters!

Halibut Fishing Charter - Oasis Charter was amazing. First, communication was fantastic!!! The shuttle was there waiting for us as we debarked the ship. Everyone worked with us to make this Charter fantastic given our tight time-line. Hunter was a great guide. He took us to spots that had the most success rates. Within 20 minutes we had our limits of halibut. We then trolled for salmon. Before Hunter could finish explaining what to expect we had a coho on the line. Within an hour, we caught 6 coho salmon but, two got away (not Hunters fault, lol). Oasis took care of the fish processing and shipping to our home. They got us back in time to quickly visit a shop to get a t-shirt! I highly recommend Oasis Charter especially if you are taking an Alaska cruise. So, we did a shore salmon fishing excursion the day before and caught absolutely nothing. In addition, it was expensive. Don't waste your time or money on this, book with Oasis Charter instead. Thank you Oasis Charter and thank you to Hunter and the entire team for a great trip!

Highly recommend - Great trip. We caught our limit in halibut and then fished for salmon until our time was up. Everyone went out of their way to make our trip awesome.

Fishing and so much more. - This exceeded our expectations for a 4 hour charter. We were constantly catching fish the entire trip. Great views and lots of other wildlife encounters; Eagles, Whales, and sealions.

Good time fishing Alaska - Great time fishing and great weather on our day. They have good boats and captains. The fishing is not very far away. I would recommend to anyone looking for a short fishing excursion.

Very comfortable fishing with Oasis - This is my third year( 6 outings) fishing with Oasis. Their guides always try hard to put us in the fish. They understand the significance of someone spending their hard earned money to fish Alaska waters. I have never left disappointed with Oasis.

Had a great time - Had a great time. Guide(Josh) was patient and very informative. Josh was able to put us in just the right spot so that me and my son were able to both catch Halibut.

Good captain - I am kind of hesitant to write a review. The captain was good and the boats are great and the gear is fine. I understand that some days the fishing is not fantastic and weather can play a part that is out of control. It was a windy day so they couldn’t take us out to the halibut grounds they wanted to so we fished for them in an area our captain said he hadn’t finished before. The fishing was slow so it ended up being a $1200 boat ride for a 7 lb halibut. I kinda wish they had canceled our trip if the weather is such that they can’t get you to productive water. The captain did his best but I do wish they had been more realistic about what to expect and canceled our trip.

No real effort - Captain and van driver were very nice. But we paid for a 4 hrs fishing and only got 2.5 hrs. The van driver picked us up at 1123 knowing our ship leaves at 430. It’s a 30-35 min drive to fishing boats from cruise port. Once we got to our boat we waited another 10 mi. For our captain, the other charter packed and left and apparently took the better fishing spot. After 1.5 hrs had to request the captain move to another spot. I’m a seasoned fisherman not a novice who was looking to catch my first any kind fish! I was expecting a better effort from captain and van driver. Problem with tourist charters they know you are leaving on a cruise never to return. Typical tourist trap, not worth $1,600

Waste of time and money. - The staff as well as the Captain were very helpful and pleasant. We were picked up a little later than expected and didn’t leave the dock until 12:15. Out charter had to leave an hour early to make the ship and there was no consideration given to the cost. Our boat captain took us out too a place he had never fished and said he wanted to try it out. When nothing was happening he took us to another spot that he said he always wanted to fish but never had. If he is a professional than way try spots with paying client that never have been tried. For my group it was a huge disappointment and waste of money.
