Ultimate Saxman Experience cruise excursions - Very informative information along with delicious food! Lee and Evelyn were engaging and entertaining while also getting us all up to date with the importance of the activities and the culture we are experiencing today. Would highly recommend!

Eian is great. - I took this tour with Eian and had a wonderful time. He drove us across Ketchikan making extra stops in the hope of seeing animals. We didn’t. But not from lack of trying! The Saxman view was really lovely and educational. I would recommend this tour and especially Eian.

Totem poles, beer, crabs and cheese cake! - Great tour with Chris T. The service was prompt, polite and friendly. Seeing one of the totem poles being created was very cool. The crab feast was wonderful and very fulfilling! Don’t pass up the cheesecake it delicious!

Saxman People and Totem Poles - The Totem Pole information given by Nyron was absolutely excellent! He knew all about the various totem poles and explained them to the group in detail! I highly recommend the excursion!

Crab Feast - The totem poles were interesting but thought they would be a demonstration. The crab feast was GREAT! Plentiful, full and delicious.
I world recommend just for the crab!

Not really worth it - We chose this tour because we wanted the George Inlet lodge experience but they were completely booked for that day; however we found this tour was available. The Saxman Totem Park is a complete letdown. We thought we would see some ancient totems but in reality you'll see just about 6 totems with no history, recently made and some made up stories about them. It's not even a park, it's just 6 totems in a circle and that's it. Our tour guide didn't know he was going to walk us through on this "totem park" and even though we do appreciate his effort in telling us some totem stories (that he clearly made up that instant), it wasn't what we were expecting at all.
The George Inlet Lodge was better, the crabs were great, our waitress was great and we got a full explanation on how to open and eat the crab. The cheesecake at the end is delicious too! We barely had enough time to eat and go back to town.
