Great tour for the whole family - Our guide, Shad, rocked! He told us exactly what we’d be doing and we could tell he loves his home :) We went to herring cove and got to see two bears! And we went to a waterfall and drank the cleanest water ever ^^. He let us know that if we didn’t see bears there would be an alternative, but we got very lucky and saw them! He even took our pictures and provided snacks!

Interesting tour - Enjoyed the tour and learned a lot about the area. Saw some interesting sites. Sadly, the bears didn't show up but that's the chance you take with any tour that includes wildlife.

An Overview of Ketchikan - Great overview tour which is exactly what we were looking for since it was a short day in port from our cruise ship. The weather was constant drizzle and rain but we made the best of it and our tour guide Shad was great. We were able to see and learn a lot about the area, a cool waterfall, no bears but oh well! :) The Totem Heritage Center with actual totem poles, other artifacts and history was super interesting.

Great small tour! - Our family went on a tour with Matthew at AK rainforest tours. He was so accommodating about picking us up closer than our original spot because it was raining hard. He was friendly and knowledgeable and really made the trip fun and worthwhile!

Great value - A great value for good tour guide. Our guide was a local that knew the area and was able to share good info on the eco system. Saw salmon and bears on the tour. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic - Dale was a great tour guide. The day was beautiful, 80 degrees. To top it off we got to see a bear catch his lunch.

Good short tour - Saw a bear at herring cove. Good small trip overall but town is very crowded when cruise ships dock. Liked all of the stops and our guide was good. Waterfall stop didn’t seem necessary.

Not recommended. Waste of money - We were very disappointed with this tour. We expected to see bears eating salmon like in the photo advertisement and only saw a bear far off in the distance walking away. The driver wanted to hurry and leave the bear area to go to a waterfall and spent way more time at the waterfall which was mediocre at best. We’ve seen a lot of waterfalls. Haven’t seen bears. The museum visit was good but driver left without us. Ahead of drop off we explained to him that we had no phone service in the US. We walked back to town. Not impressed.
