Fabulous day - We booked this excursion through our Holland America cruise and are really glad we did. This was the best excursion. We are seasoned boaters, and at first, I thought this was going to be some slow-poke 3mph follow-the-leader event. Boy was I pleasantly surprised when Turkey opened it up and we all took off after him. Turkey spotted some wildlife and guided us all to the spot effortlessly. He was knowledgeable and clear in his directions. Would have been perfect with only 2 people in the Zodiac, but our boat-mates were awesome companions who also had a great deal of powerboat experience so it was easy to split the driving (except no one wanted to give up the helm). What a great day. My only regret is that we didn't have enough time on the water, but then... I never think I spend enough time on the water.

Second can be excellent too - On my 11 day Alaska cruise I booked an excursion each day in a port and this one was second best out of 9. It started out with some history (I am a big history buff) and there was all kinds of memorabilia about the salmon cannery. But the best part was we geared up with protective clothing and of course a vest. snakes including local juices and sodas were provided. Go with the Root Beer! We boarded pontoon boats. This all was done under the supervision of our guide who was the reason this was my second best excursion. He went by "Turkey" which I felt was very humble and good for a general laugh. He evaluated everyone's ability to pilot Ione if the boats. I was solo so he let me pilot his boat. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area we explored and took us to a spot we're he knew there was a magnificent bald eagle nesting, brought so small fish in a little cooler and got the eagle out by throwing these in the air and we got to see much more of this unbelievable creature. 🦅 It was just long enough but again we all owed Turkey for making a incredible day in a incredible atmosphere. Thank you Turkey!! 🦃

Awesome day on the water! - What a great experience. We absolutely loved going out on the zodiac boats and checking out the scenery. We were lucky enough to see a bald eagle close-up. Morgan was our tour guide and she was fabulous. We felt very safe and absolutely enjoyed the snacks and craft beers when we got back highly recommend.

Well be back! - We had the most amazing day with Morgan. We born it vessels With only two people per group which was amazing.I do believe if it was more than two people per group, it would have felt very cramped. We went out on the water and had the most amazing time and amazing weather. Morgan showed us different eagles. Different water falls in a newly fallen landslides. The scenery was amazing, and we we're able to steer our own vessel the entire time. We did not stop smiling from ear to ear the entire excursion. We got back to the dock, and they provided locally sourced ciders, ears, wines and non alcoholic drinks. They also provided local cheese ans raindeer deer meat. The location was phenomenal. And you took a little nature, walk to get there over multiple waterfalls. In rainforests, we would highly recommend this tour again

Zodiac adventure. - Had a great experience on the Zodiac tour. Lively bus ride to the wilderness area, received our warmer gear and after safety instructions we received our zodiac. It was great being able to have our own group together. We travelled with Branden, our guide, who was friendly and informative. Had fun driving the zodiac. Unfortunately the wildlife had decided to move for the upcoming winter, however we did get to see a little otter family. Enjoyed a few beer tastings at the conclusion of the tour. Branden made it very interesting and we had fun. Would thoroughly recommend this company.

Views and Brews! - The zodiac tour was amazing! We were able to catch a sunny day with glassy waters and the views were spectacular. We saw seals and a bunch of eagles in their natural habitat. I loved that we were able to have our own boat, so we switched drivers midway so we both could get a chance at driving the zodiac boat. The charcuterie board and beer flight at the end was such a nice touch and refresher upon arriving back! I also love their merch on display, extremely cute designs! I definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing the different part of Ketchikan, to see the beauty without the hustle of the tourists at every corner. Biggest thank you to our guide Brandon, he is awesome and knowledgeable about the area. Ketchikan AdventureVue is so lucky to have you! Best wishes on your journey Captain Brandon!
