Amazing scuba instructor, awesome captain, caring crew - I came to Pirate’s Cove Watersports as a Scuba referral and I left a certified diver! Liber is a phenomenal instructor who helped me overcome some of my struggles withholding my nose under water. He has a lot of experience and he made the training calm and easy for me. He is very thorough and teaches at your pace. Brad the captain truly cares about safety and fun on his boat. He is knowledgeable about the snorkel/dive stops and can direct you where to go! Joe was great to have on board, keeping the energy up and making sure we were all being safe. I HIGHLY recommend Pirate’s Cove Watersports!

The Only Review you need to read: Awesome experience , Amazing people. We have proven it dozens of times over and over - We have taken Pirates cove on dozens of snorkel trips over the last 8 years and this time they got us certified for SCUBA. It was amazing ! Liber was a phenomenal instructor, Everyone in the whole shop is so nice and super helpful. In all the years we’ve been going on trips with them, we have NEVER had a bad experience. All the captains and mates are top notch and will help you with anything you need. Want to SCUBA or Snorkel ? This is your boat !!! Period !!!

The only dive company I use in Key Largo! - Dove Sunday morning March 2nd with my daughter. We have dove with Pirate's Cove many times and always experience a highly professional, safe operation. Arrival and Check in at 8:30 are smooth, they have ipads to fill out the safety waivers so it goes quickly. Sarah at the front desk runs a smooth operation. Our boat that morning had Brad as the Captain and Krissy as the first mate. Don't let Brad's groaner jokes and casual attitude fool you, he is a professional who takes the safety and enjoyment of the snorklers and divers very seriously. First time with Krissy as the first mate, she was a blast - high energy and also displayed a perfect combination of safety and fun. The boat left the dock about 9am and is on site about 30 minutes later. We dove Elbow reef and the visibility and diving was perfect. We had two separate dives on two separate reefs without the boat having to go to a new site. Christine was our guide and as always she was amazing - calm, knowledgeable, and focused on our experience. We highly recommend Pirate's Cove if you are thinking of diving or snorkeling in the keys!

Dive Instructor Murphy made my trip a blast! - I had an amazing experience diving here, due in VERY large part to Dive Instructor Murphy. I never did well in school due to having a “learning disability” (which really means that I just have a different way of processing information), but I certainly will become proficient at this awesome sport. And I couldn’t have asked for anyone better than Dive Instructor Murphy. That’s because he was extremely patient, helpful, laid back, and just a very cool dude with me throughout the entire trip. Thereby helping me to significantly increase my dive times. Which is a lot different than the experience that I had with Rainbow Reef just a few days earlier, as I apparently had the straps stolen off of my fins. I did not remove them and those things don’t just get up and walk away by themselves. To whomever it was who did this, the only thing I can reason is that you were upset with me because I was slowing down the group a little and that’s why you did it - as a way to get back at me. But if you had come to me and asked me to get back in the boat (while working out some type of compromise regarding the cost that was fair to both parties), I would have understood and been cool with that. But stealing and trying to enact some type of payback (especially when you’re not even willing to talk with the other person) is wrong any way you cut it. I don’t know if this was a staff member or a regular customer who did this, but that’s just messed up why you would need to do something like this. Anyway, I had an absolute blast at Pirates Cove. We saw the Christ of the Deep statue, a couple of Spotted Eagle Rays, a lobster, various fish, and just an incredible underwater world that you really can’t take in unless you have the actual experience. To anyone reading this who is like me, I encourage you to push yourself into this sport like I did. There are some really good people who will be more than patient, helpful, and encouraging to you as a new diver who simply has a different way of processing information. We all learn at our own pace and that doesn’t make you any less intelligent than anyone else. To the owners of Pirates Cove, please acknowledge the OUTSTANDING quality of service that Dive Instructor Murphy adds to your team. When I was on the boat, I observed how the other staff (including staff from other dive centers, such as Silent World) were with him. They apparently think of him in the highest regards, which can only come through many years of proving your dedication to this sport and the safety of the other divers around you.

A wonderful experience - My wife Ruth and I really loved scuba diving with this great team. H / Hadriam our instructor was so helpful and knew where to take us to see a great coral reef and sea life. We saw stingrays, a nurse shark and turtles. Ruth took some good GoPro footage. We highly recommend Private Cove Watersports / the whole team.

Fabulous educational and fun - amazing reef experience - Captain Brad and his crew were fabulous, funny, informative and kept us safe and educated about the reef We had lots of time at both sites we stopped at - Banana Reef and Rocky Shores ( and we got to see the Christ underwater) The reefs are amazing - teeming with life and colour - a privilege to swim amongst the many colours of fish and we even saw a nurse shark The catamaran is solid and stable on thr water even though it’s fast - it takes a little while to get to reef area Would really recommend the trip
