Additional Information
Established in 1947, our Key West party boat fishing is recognized as the longest operating deep sea fishing charter in Key West, Florida, having reeled in numerous fish over decades. It’s a fantastic activity for children. This 58-foot party boat, inspected biannually by the US Coast Guard, is equipped with powerful twin Detroit 8v92 turbo engines that transport up to 60 passengers out to sea for deep-water fishing excursions. Restrooms, a snack-serving galley, and other conveniences ensure the comfort of anglers while aboard. Experienced Captains and crew members are on hand to assist beginners as well as seasoned fishermen, to optimize their fishing experience, even assisting with baiting their hooks! The catch you haul can be yours to keep, release, or have cleaned at an additional fee per fish. Coolers are welcome. Onboard, we offer a limited selection of snacks & beverages. Feel free to bring your own lunch.

Do not park or exit taxi until you find the boat. Free parking directly behind the boat.
Check-in at the gray booth, at the boat, starting at 9:30. The boat will depart at 10am and does not wait for latecomers.

Awesome day of fishing with pros! - Captain Brandon and First Mate Ryan were awesome. They were very helpful with getting the fishing poles in place, pulling in fish, sizing and cleaning them. The boat was very clean and welcoming. There is a little galley for those who need to take a break from the sun. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean for a fishing boat. I have been on some pretty neglected ones but this was very good. We did the 6 hour fishing tour. Plan on paying the flat fee and if you need a rod and reel, you can rent one of theirs for a few bucks - it is worth it! The boat ride out to the fishing spot took just under an hour to get to. We moved around to a few different spots at various depths when the fish stopped biting. Overall there was a good number of fish pulled up including yellowtail, red snapper and grunts.

Amazing!!! - We had an amazing time. The captain and Matt did a wonderful job. We caught lots of fish and are thinking of doing another charter before we leave town.

Big fish pool - I won the fishing pool with the biggest fish caught! The captain was amazing! The crew was great! I would do it again but at night.

We caught 32 yellow jack fish!!!!!! - This was very fun, we wet beside the seven mile bridge and fish, with Mike and Edd. Both of them were very nice and we went fishing for about ~four ish hours. They teach you how to fish in the ocean and they give you the bait and rods. We caught mostly yellow jack but there are other fish. We caught 32 fish in total and they gut them for you and if you have kids you can feed the extra piece to the nerf sharks they have.
What is better is that if you are hungry you can have it cooked at almost any restaurant nearby.
I highly recommend it if you’re in the Florida Keys, otherwise you are missing out.

Highly Recommend!!!!!!! - Amazing experience! We were fortunate that we had a smallish group on board. AJ and Captain Joe were available to assist with baiting hooks, and retrieving catches! AJ was especially entertaining! My husband, who I took to celebrate his 65th birthday had never been Derp Sea Fishing caught the first fish😍 AJ cleaned our fish which we enjoyed for dinner!!!

Long day, good fishing experience - The Captain and crew are great. I recommend bringing Dramamine if you’re prone to sea or motion sickness. Also sunscreen is a must! You can purchase waters/sodas and snacks for $1 each but bringing your own bag of things isn't a bad idea. We didn’t catch too much on our trip, but the captain was very helpful and handed anything he hooked to participants to reel in. Overall quite a long excursion, we would have been happy with a couple hours shorter as people just looking for the experience but if your goal is to catch fish to take home, this is the trip for you!

Despondent - It was booked for Sunday 6/21 and captain doesn’t run boat on Sunday. Got there and no one is there until 9:50am. Text captiain said we don’t run on Sunday and I don’t have any reservations for that. I send him copy of my confirmation email and then he re agreement with different captain. I did went for fishing with family but we were looking for deep see fishing for 6 hour but this one was not deep see fishing and only for 5 hours. I was despondent about it and my kids too.
