Highlights
  • Key West Ghost and Mysteries Tour - Check-in for the ghost tour is no later than 8:45 at the corner of Duval and Caroline Street in front of the Porter Mansion on the Duval Street side. There is a small booth just at the entrance to the property, at the beginning of the 300 block of Duval Street, and that is where you will do your check-in. At 9pm the guide will depart and walk you down Rose Lane for an introduction to the tour which includes some Key West history, terminology used when talking about different spirit sightings, instructions on how to take pictures, and general guidelines. Key West is Florida’s second oldest city and one of the most haunted locations in the country. From Rose Lane you will walk to the end of the block stopping at the Casa Antigua, Ernest Hemingway’s first Key West residence where he fell in love with Key West and wrote “A Farewell to Arms”. You will hear what happened in this interesting building and the ghostly story about The Watcher. The tour then moves up to Eaton Street to the Artist House where you will hear the story of the creepy, Robert the Doll and see where he used to live. Next the tour moves to Bahama Street where the oldest graveyard is located in back of Saint Paul’s Church. You are invited to use the dowsing rods at this point to try to engage spirit activity. Just past the graveyard is the Dean-Lopez Funeral Home. This stop is where the strange tale of Count Von Cosel and Elana is related. This story is stranger than fiction, but it’s all true and documented. You now will wind back around to the La Concha Hotel and hear what happened at the tallest building in Key West. It’s a ghostly tale, but not what you probably think. Next the tour moves to the Oldest House and Gardens to explore the grounds at the back of the house, and hear stories about the family who lived here and learn about the many ghostly sightings. This is the most active location on the tour and many guests get pictures on their cameras. Finally, the tour moves inside to hear the chilling tale of a prominent Key West family at their former residence. As the tour concludes, there is time for stories and picture sharing. The tour is interactive and questions are encouraged. The tour ends at 10:30 across the street from where it started.

An awesome tour. - A very good tour. Ted, our guide was a nice host and took us to sights and told us tales about ghost history that you won’t hear anywhere else. I’d do this tour again for the entertainment if and when I get back there.

A must do for any trip to Key West. - Our guide, Ted, was great! This was a very fun tour. We got to learn some fun history about Key Weird. I really enjoyed using the ghost investigation tools during the tour and learning about them. I’ve been on a lot of ghost tours and this is up there with one of the best! Highly recommend!

Loved this tour - Ted is a fantastic guide! My husband and I had a great time learning about haunted buildings and their history. We got to see at least 5 areas/buildings on the tour and use some paranormal equipment to try and communicate with spirits. It was fun to hear about paranormal happenings in Key West, without it being cheesy ghost stories. I would highly recommend this tour! Ask for Ted!

Excellent Ghost Tour - Ted was an excellent guide. Great explanations of history and including us in interactions with spirits really set this tour apart from others. This is the best ghost tour we’ve ever been on - better than the ones we’ve done in New Orleans, Charleston and Monterey.

Really not inpressed - I myself had already read up on the history of paranormal activity. Our guide whom called himself (Fast Eddie). We'll he was fast and he did give out most of the information. Researching what we were to do he refused. Like the dousing rods and showing the tourist how to capture the phenomenon. He was to busy show what was on his phone

Waste of money and time - All we did was walk. I couldn't of done the walking for free. It was also false advertisement. We didn't get any Ghost hunting equipment like it says in the add. The tour guy was nice but too old and forgetful. We didn't get inside any houses or buldings. 100 % disappointed. We did one in St Augustine, FL that was awesome that took us inside a wax museum and empty jail. Seriously, don't waste your money and time on this one.
