Caution for the inexperienced trying ocean jet skis - We take full responsibility for our mistake, but I think ocean jetskiing requires some prior experience and skills. We are 77 and 75 with only lake experience some years ago on jet skis and we could not keep up and we were really rocked wildly in the waves. We had a patient guide who was so helpful and others in the tour were encouraging but we were rocked by the waves and were terrified when a sudden storm blew in making it really scary to navigate back to the resort. Our fault for thinking we could do it, but Barefoot Billie’s might want to put an age and experience limit on this tour like the outfits on Cabo do… makes us mad when we are deemed too old to do fun stuff… but we evidently needed someone’s disciplined strong arm to keep us away from this. If you are younger , experienced and you don’t have an arthritic right hand… this is a great value and a great experience in Key West. Wonderful guides… took care of us well… but we did not belong on this experience.

Fantastic experience! - Awesome experience! My boyfriend and I did this for his birthday. Juan was a fantastic guide, and he was attentive to our group when someone fell behind. As someone who can’t swim, I still felt very safe out on the water with the life vest and group close by. He took some great pictures for us free of charge and gave us plenty of time to enjoy without the whole thing seeming like a guided tour. Staff was friendly as well, and Juan called us promptly after booking to run down the requirements and let us know about the required boating test (took online for $13). Great deal on Viator saved us $40+ from booking directly. Only thing I wish would’ve been a bit more clear is that you have to go through the front of the Casa Marina hotel and all the way to the right down the beach - we saw the Barefoot Billy’s signs outside the hotel a few blocks down and almost missed check in because we were in the wrong spot. Overall would absolutely do this again!

Best Adventure and Crew! - Amazing family business with recommendations for local food etc. The shuttle driver is professional and welcoming and it is a great free service. I was the only person so I got my own private tour! Brian was fun and sensitive to my needs. What a great way to see the whole island. I felt like a kid again!

Do it... - Billy was great. Our guide was awesome and made sure we were safe and within our comfort level. We cruised around and even saw some dolphins and a stingray! Don't hesitate, book with Billy ASAP!

Great Jetskis experience - The team and tour was amazing. We had a great time. Highly recommend. Also avoid wearing a hat unless you strap it well. My brother and I lost our hats.

THE BEST ADVENTURE EVER!!!! - Anyone going to Key west must must use Barefoot Billy's for all your ocean fun.. Our experience was second to none.. Mike was amazing , the jet ski crew lead by Tyler and the snorkel team of Marta and Captain Scott they treated me and my family to an epic adventure, by the end of our trip we felt like family.. Thank you again for and epic vacation !!!!

Such a blast!! 10/10 Recommend! - We spent 7 days in Key West and went on two different excursions with Barefoot Billy's. The first one was a Jet Ski guided tour around the island. Our guide was Clay and we had a blast with him. It was only our second time on jet skis but he made sure we felt comfortable and was very positive and encouraging. He gave tons of fun facts about different parts of the island that were fun to learn. He was very personable and snapped some AWESOME photos of us!! We even tipped our jet ski at one point and he was over calmly helping us back up ASAP. What could've been a very panicked moment for us actually ended up just adding to our fun. I full-heartedly recommend this business to anyone looking for things to do in Key West. Its worth every penny, they are so welcoming to tourists and want you to love the island as much as they do.

Seeing Key West on Wave Runner - Going around the island on a wave runner was a great way to see Key West in a different perspective. Tyler Kight was our guide and was awesome. We had to reschedule for a day later as the weather was not cooperative. It was definitely worth it! We'd recommend this tour, as it was a highlight to our trip. We'd do it again. Thank you Tyler!
