In the morning, after breakfast, the operator will pick you up from the hotel lobby in Khajuraho and proceed to Orchha. Upon arrival, you will visit Orchha Fort, situated on an island in the Betwa River. This fort is a significant structure in Orchha, with most of the monuments and buildings linked to the Bundela dynasty. Also known as Jehangir Fort, it was built in honor of Mughal Emperor Jahangir during his visit to the Bundelkhand region. The fort showcases a blend of Muslim and Hindu architectural styles. Emperor Jahangir stayed here for just one night. Later, explore the riverside cenotaphs of the Bundela Kings and royal family members, as well as temples such as the Ram Raja Temple, Laxminarayan Temple, and Chaturbhuj Temple. In the evening, you may visit a local temple to attend the evening aarti. Return to Khajuraho in the evening, and upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.

The historic locality of Orchha, situated on the shores of the Betwa river, was established in the 16th century by the Bundela Rajput Leader, Rudra Pratap. Here, the Betwa river divides into seven streams, also known as the Satdhara. As the narrative goes, this is in tribute to the seven former Leaders of Orchha. The antique town gives off an aura of suspended time, with its numerous monuments maintaining the original magnificence to this day. Here exists some incredibly intriguing temples and palaces, providing an experience akin to a childhood dream – a journey back in time!
