• Khasab - Khasab is a port city on northern Oman’s Musandam Peninsula. Khasab Fort has crenellated stone turrets, model wooden boats and a museum with handicrafts and archaeological finds. From Khasab Harbor, wooden boats cruise the Strait of Hormuz, offering rugged coastal views and dolphin sightings. South, past mountain villages and green valleys, Jabal Hareem peak is known for its marine fossils.

Arrive at Khasab harbor and board a traditional Omani dhow for a cruise into the stunning, scenic, and peaceful fjord, Khor Ash Shimm, the longest fjord in the Musandam Peninsula. As we cruise, observe the coastal villages and spot playful dolphins and other exotic marine life. We will anchor at the renowned Telegraph Island, a relay station built in 1864 by the British to connect Bombay (India) with mainland Britain via an underwater and overland telegraphic cable passing through Basra in Iraq and Turkey. Enjoy swimming and snorkeling at Telegraph Island in the pristine and calm waters of the fjord. Lunch and refreshments will be served onboard. Snorkeling equipment and towels will be provided on the dhow. Refreshments (tea, coffee, soft drinks, and cold drinks) will also be available on the dhow.
