A marvellous trip to an evocative place in world war history - This is the first time I was going on a day-long guided trip and I was not sure what to expect. At the end of the day, it turns out to be a pleasant surprise and a marvellous experience. The logistics were planned to the minute as the team started interacting with me the previous evening. I was picked from my hotel in Bangkok city centre and dropped here in the evening. We visited all the locations as our guide nicknamed Apple explained the essential details of the locations. Of course, the most evocative was the Commonwealth Cemetery where the Allies POWs are buried who died during the construction of the Burma-Siam rail. This is another brutal example of futility of war. We had amazing lunch on a floating restaurant on the river Khwae Noi. As per my request, they had prepared vegetarian dishes. And then the mist came over the wooded hills as we drove back through lovely rain. A perfect day where I could not have asked for more. I would give full rating to the Team and hope to join you again soon. Nirdesh Singh India
