Ascending to New Heights

The thrill of the unknown is what drives us, isn’t it? As a former professional athlete, I’ve always sought out the next big adrenaline rush, and the Phang Nga Bay Skywalk in Khlong Khian promised just that. My fiancée and I arrived mid-morning, the sun already casting its golden glow over the Andaman Sea. The anticipation was palpable as we parked our car and made our way to the shuttle that would take us to the skywalk’s entrance.

The journey began with a short bus ride, a prelude to the adventure that awaited us. As we ascended in the lift, the excitement built with each floor. The moment the doors opened, we were greeted by the breathtaking panorama of Phang Nga Bay. The glass-floored skywalk stretched out before us, a transparent path suspended 80 meters above the ground. It was a sight to behold, and I could feel my heart racing with the promise of the views that lay ahead.

Walking on Air

Stepping onto the glass floor was an experience like no other. The sensation of walking on air, with the vast expanse of the Andaman Sea beneath us, was both exhilarating and humbling. After the skywalk, we indulged in a well-deserved break at the café perched at the top. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee mingled with the pure, pristine air, creating a sensory experience that was as delightful as the views. The cost of the experience included a voucher for the café, so we treated ourselves to some local delicacies and a refreshing drink.

As we sat there, reflecting on the adventure, we couldn’t help but feel a sense of gratitude for the opportunity to witness such natural beauty. The Phang Nga Bay Skywalk was more than just a viewpoint; it was a journey into the heart of Thailand’s stunning landscapes, a reminder of the wonders that await those who dare to explore. With our spirits lifted and our hearts full, we descended back to the car park, already planning our next adventure.
