Situated in Krabi province, Thailand, it is one of the top attractions in the area. Nestled in a mystical jungle, you can find two crystal-clear lakes: the picturesque Emerald Pool and the Blue Pool. A short hike through the forest allows you to explore an untouched ecosystem, and you’ll surely be captivated by the unique rainforest ambiance. If you’re up for a swim, bring your bathing suit! • Namtok Ron (Hot Spring Waterfall) - Khlong Thom - Namtok Ron Khlong Thom, located near the Emerald Pool, is set in a shady forest area with numerous hot springs. Relax in one of the many natural hollows in the creek and watch the water gently cascade into the cool pools. Experience your own natural “hot-tub jacuzzi” filled with running spring water at a comfortable 35°C-40°C.
• Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea) - Visiting the Tiger Cave Temple is a must-do in Krabi! Also known as Wat Tham Suea in Thai, it is one of the most sacred Buddhist temples in Thailand. The temple is famous for the tiger paw prints in the cave, the tall Buddha statues, and the challenging hike up the mountain, which offers incredible views. Climbing the 1,260 steps to the summit of the 309-meter-high cliff is absolutely worth it. The view over Krabi, with its limestone cliffs and lush rainforest, is breathtaking.
