Ideal for Solo or Duo Ubon Trip! - Upsides: The ideal solo trip driver. He is super chilled and almost always quiet.. which is an introvert's dream. He was so patient and would take all my photos and video as many times as I asked. We drove out and about the whole of Ubon province, over 500km in total. I tried camping for the first time on this trip, and he set up everything, had tents and sleeping bags prepared. The camping ground was neat and near a beautiful lake. We also discovered some hidden waterfalls! When my phone was running out of power, he gave me his powerbank. His courtesy is lovely. His dedication to helping me find the most scenic places was a breath of fresh air. I will suggest to future travellers though, travel during the rain season so that you can see the waterfalls in their fullest glory. Another suggestion, if you will take this tour, don't book accommodation in advance because you will not be stationed in Ubon for the most part. Downsides. One suggestion for the driver, please include in the tour description that when it says "not including food and accommodation", it means the customer is later going to be paying for both themselves and the driver (because I picked no accommodation + food thinking the driver is sorted already. Also include information that the tour price is excluding fuel. I was a bit taken aback at the end of the trip when the compiled fuel receipts were given to me. It'd have been nice to have known from the tour description in advance. Otherwise, great trip! I'll recommend it to my friends. If you like a quiet,dedicated guide, this is your guy.

Changes needed by Tripadvisor reservation site. - For the tour company: The sites were good. The trip was worth it. I would recommend it to friends. The driver didn't say anything other than point in the direction of where we were supposed to go, and said, "Go". Maybe this was a Thailand restriction because he wasn't a certified 'Tour Guide'. That should be made clear. Now it may have been that he was late in getting the gig because we didn't know we had to keep circling back and re-confirming the trip. For Tripadvisor: The tour is misleading. The first page that draws you in indicates that it is a 2 day excursion at the price of $47.92 per person. When you click into the booking site it changes to a 1 day excursion for the same price. This should be better set up as $47.92 per person for a 1 day excursion, minimum 2 people. When we asked the driver about pick up time for the second day, this is when we found out there had been one day booked. We didn't think we should have to look for a change from one page to the next.
