Wonderful cultural experience. - We had a great time. The three temples we visited were all different and amazing. Our guide Jenny was lovely and explained everything in detail. The included Thai lunch was totally delicious. It was a great way to spend a day.

Spectacular and varied tour - An excellent and varied tour. We were incredibly lucky to get Toine, our guide as he had previously been a monk for 12 years and could give us an insightful view of each of the temples and of Buddhism.. He was also very funny! The three temples were very different and each spectacular in their own way. We would thoroughly recommend this trip.

Beautiful temples and lunch - We enjoyed a relaxed day visiting a variety of temples and learning about Thai culture and (recent) history, and a little about Buddhism and practicing religion in Thailand. The roads up to the mountain temples are windy, but our driver was very careful. The van was air conditioned and comfortable, and we were supplied with water, soft drinks and wet wipes. Lunch at the river restaurant was amazing. A great location and good food. Our guide, Gift, was friendly and very knowledgeable, and also took fantastic family photos for our tour group. We are a family with two teens (11 and 14) but there were older people on our tour (60s?) and the terrain and stairs were suitable for them as well.

Very nice cultural excursion with the top guide Volker! - Great trip with guide Volker, who explained everything very well and provided us with lots of interesting background information. Everything was perfect, and the food in the chosen restaurant with a great view and very good food was also highly recommended. We were also always provided with plenty of drinks.

Thailand Temples - We were a bit wary of booking the tour as it was 8 hours long, which included quite a lot of time travelling between the temples. Having said that, our guide, who's nickname was Oil, ( a really lovely, knowledgeable guide), used the time travelling to explain the significances of each temple, the monks and the history of the religions , which made the time between temples seem a lot shorter. The temples were very interesting, for us the Dragon Cave temple was the highlight, the climb up through each section was a journey in itself, up to the top cave where we met the bats, what a great experience. I would recommend this tour but be aware there is a lot of walking.

A great guide to Thai culture - Jenny our guide was absolutely amazing. She told us so much about Thai culture, Buddhism and the temples themselves that you didn’t want the day to end. What was also a nice touch was that she told us a little about her family and daily life which made the information that she shared with us more personal and relevant. There is quite a bit of walking, and at times it’s quite steep with a lot of steps, but you get plenty of rest breaks and they make sure you are well hydrated. The food stop was also very good, with great views over the lake. I would definitely recommend and if you get Jenny you won’t be disappointed.

Memorable trip - We were on a temple trip 12 years ago in Thailand and now we had our daughter with us and thought she should also see temples, so we booked this trip. The guide Gift was really nice and very informative about Thailand's religion and answered all the questions we had (the child had quite a few too). First temple, Naga Temple, was probably the most impressive, but they were all really nice. There was also a nice lunch included. At the last temple we got a bracelet which was blessed by a monk.
