Don't miss the city tour and akagera safari while you are in Rwanda for your first time. - We have spent best time in Rwanda, it was a tree days stay and we have been able to do some tourism activities including the city tour and akagera safari provided by universal Rwanda, the company owner was a good dealer, through his recommendations we have definitely decided to book and travel with them, we had more than five companies on our list but finally universal won the game hhhh, Kigali city tour and safari were amazing experience and it' a key random to know Rwanda for the first time you are in this beautifully country, we had chance to travel with john one of the best tour guide from universal, the man was so kind, skilled, professional, accommodative and flexible to make our plans even better, we will come back and use their service again, highly recommend the 2 days safari with universal.

Enjoying wildlife in Akagera - We had a good and comfortable safari tour with Shadadi as our guide. We saw lots of animals: zebras, giraffes, lions, hippos rhino, monkeys, antelopes etc. The landscape of Akagera Park is very beautiful. 100% reccommend.

Positive and memorable day for us. - We spent our full day in jungle with mr john the guide for safari, it was incredible day, we have been able to spot animals not far from us, john gave us all explanations necessary for each animal sow, life style,..., we had an excellent day with him, Thank you john to make our day positive and memorable, highly recommend this safari. thank you.

First Time in Rwanda - The journey was long, but the experience that we (my wife and I) had was worth it.
We had the chance to visit the Akagera National Park and go on a safari. We were able to enjoy seeing wildlife in their natural habitat.
And of course our amazing tour guide (Shadadi) gave us an exclusive lesson about the park and the various animals we saw.
We encourage you to visit Rwanda, especially the Akagera National Park.

Perfect even for female solo travellers - I had a wonderful time during this tour. I was a female solo traveler but felt comfortable during the tour. The guide was friendly, respectful, punctual, and knowledgeable. The pickup went smoothly, and the guide explained me fun facts about the animals we saw, and I definitely had an amazing time. I would love to come back with some friends to share this beautiful moment with them.

Best safari with experienced guide Chadadi. - This a life time experience i can recommend to any one wish to visit Rwanda, my girl friend I had a wonderful time inside akagera national park, through our experienced guide chadadi the safari was awesome, chadadi took us to all park' corners and we sow many animals with different size and behaviors, he gave us all explanations necessary to optimize our experience, Thank you chadadi we will recommend your company to our friends, thank you.

100% recommended safari with Christian as the guide. - We did one day akagera safari from Kigali with universal , it was easy for us to trust them through the best reviews they have, safari was incredible all big five were spotted during our safari and other type , Christian is the humble guy and much professional for his guiding skills he made our trip fun and possible with his explanations about animals behaviors, he deserve 100%, we are highly recommend this company for safari in akagera national park. Thank you.

Tried to make our private tour into a ‘group’ tour to save money without asking! - What should’ve been an easy tour turned into an anxiety, stressful ridden nightmare! This is my experience travelling with Universal Ventures Rwanda.
I received a random WhatsApp message asking me to confirm my booking, after a few back and forward messages I realised that they said we’d be 3 pax on the day. This wasn’t right as very clearly it says PRIVATE tour, nobody else except your party will travel on the day. This was extremely poor communication as they didn’t explain this whatsoever and made me feel like it was my fault that I was even clarifying what was going on.
After realising their mistake they offered us an “upgraded” car with the open rooftop. This turned out to be good in some ways but awful in others. For example when driving along the windows all had to be down as smoke enters the car from underneath the passenger side front seat, the driver even commented on it and said the windows have to be down. Although we didn’t ask for the ac to be turned on this meant that we pretty much felt gassed out by the sheer amount of pollution coming into the vehicle. Everytime he hit the gas to accelerate the amount of thick black smoke coming out of the engine was horrendous and definitely not environmentally friendly!
The final straw was getting food poisoning, I hadn’t eaten anything else the night before or that morning and then being told that it was your own choice is appealing customer service. The chicken was definitely not chicken, no idea what meat it was but it was disgusting.
My overall experience with these cowboys makes me never want to come to Rwanda and I definitely wouldn’t recommend them to any traveller wanting an easy, stress-free tour. They are aggressive, argumentative and don’t deserve the business, as you’ll no doubt see from their reply!!
