I was able to enjoy the gorilla show smoothly. - I originally booked Nyiragongo, but it was closed, so I changed my destination to gorilla trekking in Bwindi. I had arranged for gorilla trekking in Vilcanoes National Park in Rwanda to be done by another tour company, and when it finished at Musanze, this tour company picked me up in the evening, crossed the border into Uganda, and moved to a lodge near the national park for the night. The next morning I participated in gorilla trekking. I left in the afternoon and was transported across the border to Kigali in Rwanda. Overall, the trip went smoothly and I was very satisfied. We had an hour to observe the gorilla family, and we were able to get a good look at the baby and the boss up close. This time, I went on gorilla trekking in both Rwanda and Uganda, and both were good, but I thought Uganda was more reasonable in terms of price. The roads in Uganda are quite rough off-road, so if you have some spare energy, I think Uganda is a good choice for a reasonable price, and if you want something closer, gorilla trekking in Rwanda is a good choice.
