Center, craft centers, and local markets, especially the Kimironko Market. Later, you leave
Kigali and head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will cross to Uganda through the
Chanika Border to the Kisoro/Katuna Border toward Kabale. Enjoy the beautiful countryside
characterized by rolling hills. You will arrive early to check in at your gorilla safari lodge for
relaxation.
Gorilla trekking & the Batwa cultural tour
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Enjoy a hearty breakfast whereafter you’ll meet the officials at the park offices. You will be
briefed about the gorilla-trekking rules starting at 7:00 a.m. At 8:00 a.m., you can expect to
leave the lodge for the gorilla trek. You will visit one of the park’s 20 habituated gorilla
families. A trek to view the Bwindi gorillas is unpredictable and lasts from 2 to 6 hours, with
a guarantee of spending 1 hour with them for a magical encounter.
Afterward, return to the accommodation for relaxation. Later in the evening, don’t miss out
on enjoying an authentic African cultural experience with the Batwa community.
Drive via Ishasha (game drive) to Kibale National Park
