Kigali Genocide Memorial - At 8:30 am Rwanda time, transfer from Kigali with a city tour; visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial before crossing the border to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Cross into Uganda via Gatuna, and after clearing customs, continue to Bwindi.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking Activity in Bwindi

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - After breakfast, around 7:00 am, with packed lunch and drinking water, you will be transferred to the National Park Headquarters for a briefing on the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. Then, proceed to the forest to begin the actual gorilla tracking. The beauty of this rainforest is breathtaking. The area features a dramatic, steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, yet crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary according to the movements of these magnificent primates. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an amazing, exciting experience to be cherished.

Upon return, relax and freshen up as you await transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for an overnight stay.

Boat Cruise on Lake Bunyonyi & Kigali International Airport

Kigali - Early in the morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Cyanika Border via Kisoro town and continue to Kigali for your departure flight.
