Arrival at the Airport and Transfer to Bwindi National Park
Kigali - Guests will be collected from their hotel or the airport and will immediately embark on their journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, traveling through Musanze to Kisoro. The trip offers numerous picturesque views, with rolling mountains and hills that are perfect for photography. There will be opportunities to stop at scenic viewpoints for photos and other experiences. Upon arrival at the park, guests will check in at their lodge, relax for the evening, and prepare for the gorilla trek the following day.
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - An early breakfast will be followed by a briefing at the park headquarters on the guidelines for gorilla trekking. Rangers will guide the group in the search for mountain gorillas. Participants will also enjoy the park’s diverse flora and fauna and spend quality time with these magnificent creatures. After the encounter with the gorillas, guests will return to the lodge for a quick late lunch. If time permits, they can relax at the lodge or visit the local Batwa community.
Return to Kigali International Airport
Kigali - After an early breakfast, guests will be driven to Kigali International Airport. There will be a stop at Lake Mutanda to enjoy the scenic views and explore the islands on the lake. This offers a chance to appreciate the beautiful scenery and birdlife. The guide will then drop guests off at either a hotel or the airport for their flight.
