A Must-Visit Places. - Anyone visiting Kigali should make time for the Museum of Campaign Against Genocide and the Kigali Genocide Memorial. Together, they offer a profound perspective on Rwanda’s journey and the resilience that has shaped the nation over the past 30 years. Walking through Kigali City Centre afterward, seeing how far the city has come, is truly inspiring. These experiences are essential for understanding the heart of Kigali and Rwanda today.

Full day tour of Kigali - We spent a wonderful day with Hurry. He was knowledgeable, passionate and provided us with a terrific overview of Rwanda’s history and present day life. We stopped at off the beaten track art galleries which were impressive and an unexpected treat. We also learned a tremendous amount about the genocide at the parliament museum and site were the Belgian peacekeepers were killed. While difficult to hear, it really helped provide a context to fully appreciate just how far Rwanda has progressed in such a short time. Thank you Hurry for opening our eyes to the miracle and magic of Rwanda. Would highly recommend this tour….ask for Hurry! PS lunch was great.

Amazing Kigali City Tour with My Family - My family and I had an incredible time on the Kigali City Tour. From the start, everything was well-organized, and we felt instantly welcomed. We loved discovering hidden local spots, including a cozy café where we enjoyed authentic Rwandan coffee. The Kigali Genocide Memorial was a powerful and humbling experience, and our guide did an amazing job sharing the city’s history. The scenic views of Kigali from the hilltops were breathtaking, and we took some unforgettable family photos. This tour gave us a deeper connection to Kigali, and we left with wonderful memories. Highly recommend!

Ok tour, fantastic guide! - I always strive to give honest reviews, so here it goes: The driver: Hurry was one of the most intelligent guides I have ever met. He was very articulate and knew a lot about the history of his country. He was also very honest, flexible with my itinerary, and made good suggestions based on my personal preferences. His car was immaculate. As for the tour, I think it is very expensive. It isn't this particular company that charges a lot, all tours in Kigali are priced more or less the same. Although the city is very clean and safe, it just doesn't offer the same attractions as larger cities such as Cape Town, Singapore, etc., where tours are half the price or even free, to justify paying the equivalent of a montly local salary. The tour includes lunch, yes, but doesn't include entrance tickets to museums, which I skipped on the account of the extortionate rates charged to foreigners. The lunch, however, which was a buffet, was the best I had in Rwanda. Now for the stops. The Genocide Museum (which is free) was the number 1 attraction. The views from Mt Kigali were disappointing -- skip them and go instead to the rooftop of the Campaign Against Genocide Museum (a different institution altogether), which Hurry arranged for me at no additional cost. There are 2 pedestrian areas -- one is no more than an alley lined up with small eateries (you can skip it) and the other, where the famed KIGALI sign is, is nice. You should also visit the Belgian Memorial, it is an important part of Kigali's history. These are the places I have personally visited, so I can only comment on them. To sum up, if you want to take a private tour of Kigali rather than doing it on your own by taking local taxis, you cannot go wrong with Hurry. He is a great conversationalist and you can learn a lot from him. He was definitely the best part of the tour.
