Exceptional family friendly experience at Kinunu Guest House - We were a family of 14 staying two nights at Kinunu and experienced an outstanding warmth and family friendly ambience. The restaurant menu offers many healthy vegetarian options. On our second evening they prepared a tasty barbecue with delicious fish and vegetables. The interesting coffee tour explaining the "from bean to cup process" was highly interactive and educational even for the youngest children. The Lake Kivu boat trip is also highly recommended.

One night in Kinunu during Congo Nile Trail - I spent one night at Kinunu Guest House during walking the Congo Nile Trail for 3 days. It was really beautiful there and I had a restful night after having an incredibly delicious diner. Unfortunately I had no time to do a coffee tour but the friendly receptionist showed me some beautiful places near the guest house. I would love to come back again!

Did not stay overnight - only ate in restaurant - We stayed for the coffee tour and had a wonderful vegan meal. We did not stay overnight but saw the rooms. The rooms were basic and clean. The vegan meal consisted of seasoned beans, rice, plantains, and juice. It was excellent!
