Scones In The Garden - My daughter and I thought we’d begin our first day in Galway with a baking class and it was an excellent decision. Kate is so inviting and personable with her guests. The class is very hands on. I love to bake and we made the most gorgeous scones and soda bread. We were able to design both to our flavor liking. The cherry on top was sitting her garden enjoying the scones and bread with a pot of tea and learning about Kate as a baker, chef and restaurateur. I would highly recommend this class.

Great fun for us all - Such an amazing experience. Kate was great and being able to sit and enjoy hot scones and bread that we baked together was so worth it. I would recommend this to anyone and Kate was a lot of fun to sit and have a cup of tea with afterwards. Thank you very much.

Could not have been more lovely! - Had a day to myself in the Galway area while waiting for friends to arrive, and booked this experience with Kate. She welcomed us into her home, taught us her recipes, and then we enjoyed our delicious baked goods over coffee and tea around her table. The other guest had a gluten allergy and Kate very thoughtfully reworked both the scone and bread recipes so that she could bake more for herself at home. Kate's vast experience owning her own cafes and meeting the needs of all baked-good lovers is so evident. Highly, highly recommend. Thank you, Kate!

Lovely afternoon with Kate - We had a wonderful experience with Kate. She picked us up from the bus from Galway (bus was a very easy ride) and was warm and welcoming to have us in her home. We enjoyed learning how to make scones and bread and even picked lavender from her garden to add to the scones. We could have stayed for hours in Kate’s kitchen eating scones with jam and drinking tea. Thank you for a lovely experience!
