Moshi - On this Day, you will be picked up at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your arranged Hotel in Moshi, you will meet your guide for briefing and equipment check. Any missing mountain gear can be rented on this day.

The Marangu Route is often referred to as the ‘Coca Cola’ route. A common belief among mountaineers is that the Marangu route presents a less challenging ascent since accommodation is provided in huts, unlike other paths that require tent camping. It includes an elective additional day at the Horombo huts for acclimatization, which is recommended for climbers without past experience in mountain hiking. The journey begins at the park’s main office in the Marangu village and proceeds directly towards Kibo in the west. Travelers trek through verdant rainforests, heathland, and moorlands to reach the alpine desert, culminating in the arctic zone at the summit, before descending the same path.
