- Mount Kilimanjaro - The Kilimanjaro Day hike takes you to Mandara Hut, situated at an altitude of 2720 meters above sea level. The ascent to Mandara Hut takes approximately 4 to 5 hours, while the descent takes about 3 to 4 hours.
On the way to Mandara Hut, you will encounter various species of monkeys, including black and white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and a variety of bird species.
Our knowledgeable and experienced guides will provide you with all the necessary information about Mount Kilimanjaro and explain the different species of plants and animals you will encounter along the way.
Upon reaching Mandara Hut, you will enjoy a well-deserved lunch and rest before continuing the hike for 15 minutes to the Maundi Crater. Here, you will be treated to stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Northern Tanzania, and Kenya across the border.
After the rewarding 3 to 5-hour hike, you will begin your descent back to the Marangu Gate. Your vehicle will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel in Arusha.
