Book a tour with Mossie early…..you don’t want to miss the experience! - Our family group of 7 ranged in age from 9 to 80. We were lucky enough to spend a full day tour with Mossie. He is a very popular and sought-after guide, and with good reason. He is a native of the area, but has traveled the world and is erudite about the world in general. Mossie is a natural story teller and made the history of Ireland entertaining and interesting to our varied age group. To top it off he sang a few Irish folk songs for us as were traveling along. He has a beautiful voice, and when asked, he admitted to singing local pubs from time to time. My husband and I are older and have been fortunate to have travelled a fair bit, we have never in our 40+ years had a better guide. Mossie is a pleasant, witty individual and we very much enjoyed spending the day with him. Thank you Mossie for giving our grandchildren a day they will always remember.

Made our entire trip - Having Mossie as our guide for a three-day private tour of Kerry and Dingle proved to be the highlight of our entire trip to Ireland. His extensive local and historical knowledge combined with his flexible, easygoing approach allowed us to trust in his every recommendation, while still maintaining the ability to tailor each day to our own pace and interests (including seeing several sites that the big tour buses cannot reach). And his charming wit and sparkling conversation along the way made him a most welcome and memorable addition to our family vacation. It was truly a pleasure getting to know him -- I couldn't imagine touring Ireland with anyone else!

A tour so nice (amazing!), we did it twice! - We absolutely love Mossie's tours and highly recommend their tours for the Dingle Sleigh Head and the Ring of Kerry. Our first trip to Dingle, Helen took us around the Dingle Sleigh Head and over Connor's Pass. It was wonderful taking a break from driving on the other side of the road from the other side of the car, especially on the narrow roads of the sleigh head. Helen was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and its history. She took us to hidden gems and created a tour catered to our interests. We loved this part of our first trip to Ireland so much that we knew when we went back we would do this again. And we definitely did! This time with the family. Our second Mossie tour was lead by Mossie himself, left from Kilarney and was a tour of the ring of Kerry. Mossie is a wonderful tour guide, happy to entertain our attempt at an irish accent, very knowledgeable, and an joke teller. We had a blast exploring the Kerry cliffs, small towns, Skellig chocolates, beaches, and so much more. Both tours the vehicles were impeccably clean, comfortable, and we felt safe. We spent our time enjoying the gorgeous countryside, local fare, local flavors, and the company of a local born and raised in the area with an incredible knowledge of the history and the area. Both Helen and Mossie gave excellent recommendations for other things to do not only in Dingle and Kilarney, but also other parts of the country as well. Everyone in our family enjoyed their company, even the teenagers. This is one of the best experiences we had both times we have visited the area. It was obvious that both Helen and Mossie are very proud of their heritage and happy to share their love of the area with us, stopping at favorite spots that only locals would know. We are happy to know both Helen and Mossie now and will look forward to meeting up with them again the next time we travel to Ireland. Hopefully that will be quite soon!

Amazing Experience! - This was our second trip to Ireland in a year. On our first trip, we took tours with Mossie (full day and half day), and on this most recent trip a full day Ring of Kerry tour. Mossie's Tours are by far the best part of our trips. We weren't even sure where we wanted to go, so he had wonderful suggestions. He brings you to places that you would not know of if you were touring on your own, which made it more special. He is so knowledgeable about everything he showed us, and even included personal experiences and stories growing up in Ireland. There was not a question we asked that he couldn't answer, and his sense of humor made the trip even more memorable. The weather was not great on our Ring of Kerry Tour, but he was still able to show us some amazing things, including the Kerry Cliffs, Staigue Fort and Torc Waterfall in Killarney National Park. One suggestion...wear good walking shoes (waterproof if you can!) We would highly recommend Mossie's Tours for anyone visiting the Dingle area.

Two more members of The Mossie Fan club! - Our trip around the Dingle Peninsula with Mossie, like so many other reviewers, was most definitely the highlight of our first trip to Ireland. Such a treat!! His warmth and sense of humor were infectious. He greeted us with a big smile and made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing adventure around the breath-taking Dingle Peninsula. He shared his knowledge of history and stories about growing up on the Peninsula. We visited incredible beaches and he showed us spectacular views of mountains and valleys, waterfalls & streams. As we drove along, Mossie entertained us with his beautiful singing. At the end of the day we met up with his lovely wife Helen. They are Just- great people!! ❤️ Heart felt thank you to Mossie!
