Beautiful Gap of Dunloe scenery - Spectacular views and we chose the walking 11 km option but it was good to know there were the jaunting carts option for those who chose not to walk. The destination was Lord Brandon's cottage after walking through the Gap of Dunloe. Fully recommend. Thank you Dermott for driving our boat back to Ross Castle. Cheers

Best tour of Ireland - The hike through gap had breathtaking sites and views. The lunch after the hike you will need cash for and it is good. The boat ride through the three lakes was fabulous and a unique experience. Rory was our guide and he shared so much interesting information about the history and nature of the lakes and Killarney. The views from the lake are really special. It was definitely the best tour we did as a family during our week long trip to Ireland. I highly recommend it.

Impressive views and characters - A special place, a must do … took my US friends and this was defo a highlight of our trip to Ireland… I’d recommend the jaunty cart ride , and whilst the views are impressive, the characters riding them are even more so …

Enjoy the wonderful nature - I didn’t really know what the tour was about, but we took the bus to the Dunloe entrance, then walked or took a carriage across the valley. After lunch, take the boat back to Ross Castle and take the bus back again. The carriages are extra as per the tour guide and are for 4 people. We were a couple, so the coachman asked us what we would do. Two people pay twice as much, so I had them combine with other customers. It's quite a hill and time is limited, so it was the right horse-drawn carriage for us. In general, it was a great experience with good weather. However, from getting off the bus to getting on the bus again about Ross Castle, it's almost free, so it's kind of a lost place in terms of meeting points and Japanese senses, but in my case, I had no problem because an American woman on the carriage kindly told me. There are a number of tours, so you may want to write down the names of the tour companies. You'll always need a ticket to be given at the meeting point.

Good exercise with beautiful scenery. - The walk was the way to go for us, but it's not recommended for slow walkers. Beautiful scenery, lots of places to stop and take pictures. The drivers on the road were cautious, though you still need to be aware the cyclists and narrow sections.

Hiking the gap of dunloe - We hiked from Kates Cottage to the Wishing bridge- (20-30 min walk) absolutely breath taking, easy road walk with slight incline and is a definite “must do”!

Exciting day! - What a exciting, fun day! We were going to walk the 11 km of the Gsp of Dunloe, but my hubby tweaked his knee. So we did the jaunting car. Paul was our driver. Each car has to have 4 ppl, so we were paired with a Mom & her two boys. We had so much fun! Paul gave us a ton of information and made the ride so enjoyable. Gypsy was a fantastic horse. The boat ride was exciting and beautiful. The weather was windy, so there were swells on the lower lake, Frank did a magnificent job of getting us over to the other side. The folks in the front got a little soaked, but all were in great spirits. A great day out!

Okay but instructions after boat not clear - Good overall, but no idea where to get bus back to town. No signs and bus wasn’t in parking lot. Ended up walking 30 minutes back.
