Wonderful experience! - Tony was on-time, very friendly, happily stopped for many photo opportunities, told us stories along the way, and drove safely on narrow roads with fairly heavy traffic. We had a great day!

Fabulous tour guide…worth the price! - Peter was an informative driver and was open to all things Ring of Kerry that we wanted to do. He helped with fabulous suggestions to add to our itinerary along with restaurant and shopping suggestions, as well. This tour was more than I’d hoped for.

Excellent Ring of Kerry experience - This tour was the highlight of our trip to Ireland. Having a private driver was easily worth the cost. Bus tours can’t reach some of the locations due to road size. Kris, our driver, was excellent and had our best interests in mind. He allowed whatever time was needed to the provide an excellent experience. This is a highly recommended tour!

Great driver with great itinerary - I hired a private driver for the Ring of Kerry because of all the things I read about passing buses. I drove all of our vacation so it was nice to have someone else drive so that I could immerse myself in the scenery. Kris was a very safe driver and we enjoyed his history lessons. He incorporated a ferry ride to Valencia Island into the itinerary and then we took the bridge back. He was wonderful about stopping for photos even when we asked him to go back a mile for a better one. He also had a few fun surprises for us. Holding a baby lamb is top on my mom’s greatest Ireland experiences. He was kind, understanding, and handled all our chaos with a smile. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic private Kerry tour to the cliffs - It was a fantastic tour with an experienced very good guide. He was patient , flexible, knew a lot, proposed very interesting stops. We had time to watch and feel the atmosphere of the breath taking landscape. We‘ ll never forget that beautiful tour with the excellent guide and driver Antony (Tony).

Best part of our Ireland trip! - Tony was an absolutely amazing guide! Took us off the beaten path for a Fishermans lunch, chocolate factory, homemade ice cream, and many scenic pulloffs the big buses can't get to, and was informative about Irish history and culture. Our safety and enjoying the trip was his top priority. This was for sure the highlight of our trip! P.S. Thank you Tony for bringing back the phone ;)

Amazing - The scenery along the way was spectacular! Having a personal driver seemed so much nicer than driving in a large group tour. Tony had a sense of humor that made the drive fun and he always told us to take our time at our stops. He was extremely helpful when my daughter became car sick and the mess had to be cleaned up. .

The best way to see the Ring - An older fellow and his adult daughter booked this private tour with Peter Stanley for 9 June 2024. Let us begin with value. The price for an 8-9 hour day is, in our opinion, very reasonable. The Ring of Kerry scenery is fantastic all over, but we must highlight the Cliffs of Kerry and distant view of the Skellig islands. Luke Skywalker's Jedi Temple was filmed on Skellig Michael. It turns out that those stone huts were based on the real things built by 11th century monks. You can see replicas at the entrance to the cliffs. They are called beehive huts or clochan. Peter will customize the trip based upon the number of other tours on the road and our interests. Since we went on a Sunday, he was able to take us up to Valentia Slate Quarry. This is really neat in itself, but also offers tremendous views of Valentia Harbour and Dingle Bay. I needed a bathroom stop, and he diverted to the little town of Cahersiveen. Here we visited the Daniel O'Connell memorial Church and the grave of WWII hero Father Hugh O'Flaherty (see "The Scarlet and the Black" book and movie). This was a moving experience. We found Peter to be knowledgable, friendly and most accommodating.

More stunning than pictures or videos - By far The Cliffs and other scenery! Stunning! Thoroughly enjoyed the comradery with Tony! He kept the tour fun and interesting! Very much appreciated being picked up at my Airbnb and having some flexibility to make changes after the tour began rather than being on a fixed stop and go and the one fixed itinerary tour for all.
