Great tour full of interesting information and beautiful scenery - Very interesting and informative tour. The guide had a great knowledge of the local area, which is so steeped in history and a tribute to times past. The scenery was breath-taking from the bridges to the old railway buildings. The time on the tour seemed to pass quickly and it was a fantastic way to spend a morning, out in the fesh air getting the steps in.

My 1st Walking Tour - I had a wonderful time with my first ever walking tour experience. I have learned so much about Kilmacthomas - thanks to the amazing Stiófán. He is very knowledgeable and sensitive to his listeners. Also, he is an excellent storyteller and he has the magic that will let you relive the past. Moreover, I like the quiet moments he gave to simply feel and appreciate the place. The Irish sun was out so it was a BONUS. I highly recommend this tour to all

A warm and welcoming tour of the stunning Waterford greenway and Kilmacthomas! - I thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour with Stephen. We were blessed with sunshine on the day and got to see the beautiful countryside of Kilmacthomas and hear all about the history of the area. The scenery on the greenway is really lovely. We saw two mice getting up to mischief in the hedges which was so cute! Stephen is a very friendly engaging and approachable tour guide and there were lots of laughs along the way. Stephen has extensive knowledge of the area and his love and admiration for his home place really shines through in his storytelling and anecdotes. I would highly recommend the tour to anyone wanting to spend a few hours walking in scenic countryside while learning about Kilmacthomas, the history of the workhouse, the paupers grave and so much more!

Lovely time! - We went as a group of adults, the day was dry (that helps :-) ). The landscape is lovely, the stories are very interesting and entertaining. The story teller/guide is captivating and engaging. We were told about Irish history, facts about the vegetation around and even some architecture facts. We had also some time to admire the surroundings and practice some mindfulness. The pace was not too fast or too slow, he adapted to our group. I really enjoyed it!

Excellent walking tour! - It was a beautiful morning, weather was lovely and the tour guide was very entertaining. A leisurely stroll around Kilmacthomas starting on the Waterford Greenway and looping back through the village to the Greenway. Just long enough to enjoy and short enough not to tire of walking. Stephen was pleasant and informative, giving little anecdotes of history and folklore along the way. He is passionate about the area and it's history and it shines through. All in all a very enjoyable experience that I would highly recommend.

Greenway/Kilmacthomas Walking Tour - We had an excellent tour with Stiofán as part of a Greenway course I was doing. It was so interesting learning all about the local history and architecture of the area and how it all connects to different events and parts of the world. I would highly recommend doing this his tour if you are in the area. As a near local, it gave me a completely different perspective of an amenity that’s on my doorstep. Very enjoyable
