Great day, on time, enjoyed a relaxing day of touring without any worries - Had a great time with a worry free, laid back time that came on time and just what we expected. The sidewinder road was our favorite part but oatman and Kingman was fun also. Do yourself a favor and get out of the casino and enjoy some desert time. Picked up and dropped us off at the door of our casino. Highly recommend

Something unique to see - I have visited Las Vegas over 10 times and taken tours on most trips. As a result, it became increasingly difficult to find something “different” to see and do. However, I was instantly intrigued when I came across the Oatman Mining Village, Route 66 & Electric Vehicle Museums last fall. It definitely sounded interesting. The only issue was that I could not book a single ticket through TripAdvisor. So, I reached out to Robert Walton, Owner/Founder of Desert Wonder Adventures. He immediately reassured me that they remained open for discussion and not to be concerned. As my May 2024 trip got closer, I stayed in contact through e-mail and phone. Finally, a week before departure, I received an e-mail saying that while my chosen date was not possible, he could accommodate me on the tour one day earlier if I was interested, which I was. I was impressed that they did not forget about me before booking. On the day of the tour, our guide, Jeff, picked me up at my hotel before we headed off to Laughlin to pick up the rest of our group (a total of five guests). Jeff was an excellent tour guide, providing a wealth of knowledge about the stops on our tour and the area in general. He was also able to connect with every person on the tour, discussing their interests. As we made our way to Oatman, AZ, the stops along the route were a delightful surprise. The Electric Vehicle Museum provided a fascinating insight into the area’s early settlement and the long history of electric vehicles. A pit stop at Cool Springs allowed us to stretch our legs and take in the stunning landscape. The journey through the switchbacks was a thrilling adventure in itself. We finally arrived in Oatman, the "star" of our tour. We got to see a staged gunfight and interacted with the donkeys that freely roam the street. At the start of the tour, Jeff asked us if anyone was on schedule and had to get back to their hotel by a specific time. Since no one had any post-tour plans, it made the day less rushed and more relaxing. As a result, everyone went off to explore the town on their own. My first order of business was to head to the restaurant, where I got to enjoy their special Buffalo burger. All in all, it was a fantastic day and a great tour. If you have the time, I would highly recommend trying it out. It’s fun, even a bit educational. You won’t be disappointed.

Interesting place but no safety measures - It was an interesting drive.. hard to find a parking space, haphazard to say the least, no thoughts to pedestrian safety. There should be one designated parking space and the vehicles carrying tourists should NOT be allowed in the tiny towns only paved street. The “restaurant” a local eating place had walls covered in dollar bills ( apparently over$400,000.00 worth .. some so dried out they were falling off the walls.. no sprinklers in the establishment and the place looked like it would go up like a tinder box if someone dropped a match..hard to believe this place is t a fire risk. The other jazzers is a large area where the floor has a rise in the middle, it was painted yellow on the edges but many people did a little trip when they weren’t expecting it. On the upside we had a great waitress and good food. The entertainment was awesome too!
